As the end of summer slowly approaches and my favorite blooms begin to fade, it’s time to start gathering for the season ahead. Vintage baskets filled with dried hydrangeas set the stage for the quieter days to come.

An ode to our beach house.

We sold it and just spent our last week here.

Styling it became a passion project. We were on such a tight budget so I had to work with what was already there and build around it to bring it to life. I focused on natural, organic textures to make it feel coastal and calm.

I’m really going to miss it here. It was cozy, modest and always felt like home.

It’s bittersweet to let it go, but I’m grateful for the memories and excited for the next chapter.

The frame on this mirror had been painted, but underneath was a beautiful solid wood grain waiting to be uncovered. Subtle traces of blue can still be found, telling the story of the life it once lived and giving it character that can’t be replicated.

This wicker basket sat empty on the floor in front of my fireplace for weeks after I brought it home. Then I had the idea to move it here and tuck the vase arrangement inside.

Sometimes when a space starts to feel a little stale you just need to switch things up. Small changes can make a big difference.
