This was so fun to draw and embroider by hand. What if I told you straight lines are wayyyy harder than the intricate floral work that I do by hand, given the nature of the organic fabric I use for my pieces!? 😅 The pressure was ON to make this embroidered replica of the brewery as realistic as possible!

As always, you can email me directly for custom inquiries! Yes, there is always a lead time, but that’s the trade off for supporting real artists that make things by hand! No AI slop “art” here. No mass produced plastic junk that gets delivered in 2 days and will end up in a landfill. In the spring I decided to use my husbands upcoming 40th birthday as an excuse to bring some of my culinary dreams to life and bake desserts I’ve never made before, but have been living rent free in my head. I ended up making 5 different sweet treats and told him he could pick his favorite for me to make for his birthday.

His birthday is next week, and he made his choice! I’m curious to see what everyone thought he picked, but in the meantime, here’s a run down of what I baked 🥰

1. Chocolate “tiramisu” kinda cake
2. Chocolate covered strawberry tiramisu
3. Matcha white chocolate tiramisu
4. Classic tres leches, (mostly) dairy free
5. Rose pistachio tres leches, (mostly) dairy free

I’d make any of these again! The best part was winging it with all of these concoctions - I made mental notes of what we loved most about each dessert, and things I would do differently next time … now I just need to write everything down for real 🥰🎂✨

My first ever painted sourdough loaf 🥹🌸🍞

I have always loved bread but can’t say I ever had any true passion about any one bread in particular … until I met Paulo, founder of some years ago! I started buying his croissants and cookies (and OGs remember when he sold BLUEBERRY MUFFINS - these were my FAVORITE), and then decided one day I wanted to buy one of his loaves, which always looked so delicious, garnering long lines at farmers markets! I was officially converted to a sourdough lover. But not just *any* sourdough. Only ! His bread in particular is nice and airy, light, and has@a specific tang that just tastes so delightful.

Over the weekend I was able to learn about his sourdough making process, and I’m so glad Paulo and Michelle opened their bakery doors after hours to provide such a wonderful and informative experience so I could learn the complexities of sourdough making, and appreciate the wide possibilities this has left for me to explore a new culinary map that has yet to be drawn. Im still intimated by all of the steps involved but I am confident I can get the process down!

I told Christian last year that I desperately wanted to paint my own bread - what a wonderful way to combine my love of baking with my love of creating visual art. Well, my dreams finally came true. Christian gifted me a lovely le creuset Dutch oven for Christmas AND this opportunity to learn from one of the sourdough GOATs, Paulo!! Im eager to try making great bread at home 🍞 but nothing will ever replace our coveted trips to the bakery to enjoy delish sweet and savory works of art that can never be replicated by anyone else! Thank you Paulo and Michelle!! 🍞

On one of the few days in the past ~month that I haven’t been sick, I brought one of my dream bakes to life: funfetti cinnamon rolls with fruity pebbles and crushed sprinkle cookies on top of a delectable vanilla cream cheese frosting. These *look* super sweet, but actually weren’t! I think they were the perfect amount of sweet, all things considered ☺️♥️🧁🍬 I’ve been told by my friends that these were very good! 🥰💘🤌🏽

my favorite things I made in 2025! i leaned more into my culinary creativity and really enjoyed that aspect of 2025! can’t wait to see what 2026 brings for me creatively - I’ve already got ideas up my sleeve 😍 as always, thank you for being here and supporting anything and everything I create! 🖼️🧵🪡🥘🧈🍪🎂
