One of my favorite things about custom work is getting to see where these pieces end up. 🤍

I dropped this dresser off today for a repeat client, and her new house is absolutely gorgeous. I already loved this piece, but seeing it in its new home made it even better.

Fall is my favorite season, which is convenient because it is also apparently the season of absolute chaos. 😂

Back to school. Fall ball. Travel ball. Festivals. Holiday prep. New releases. Work days. Custom pieces. Auntie duty. Trying to remember which kid needs to be where, what shop I’m supposed to be at, what I forgot to order, and why there is somehow already Christmas stuff everywhere.

I feel like I’ve been running in 12 different directions since September started, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

But honestly… I kind of love it.

It’s loud and busy and exhausting and my brain is permanently at 97% capacity, but there’s also baseball, shop days, creative projects, new ideas, baby snuggles, and all the little things that make this season feel full in the best way.

And truly, thank you for sticking with me through the chaos and continuing to support South New while I’m juggling all of it. It means more than you know.

So if I seem a little scattered right now… mind your business. It’s fall. 😂
