Store bought chamomile tea bags are from mass-produced brands that mechanically crush, sieve, or shred the flowers to fit commercial tea bags.

Processing chamomile they way they do, often strips away the petals and essential oils. Essentially getting rid of the benefits. Leaving you with a yummy tea but, ultimately without the benefits.

To make a beneficial cup of tea, seep 2-3 spoons of fresh OR 1 spoon of dried herb into water. Wait 5 min so the warm water will draw out the essential oils.

Boiling water will diminish the compounds in natural herbs. Be sure to use hot, non boiling water.

Did you know the salad boxes n bags we buy at the grocery store, wash our salad in sanitizer??

Yup. I didn’t know either!
HINT.

Harvest your greens, wash in ice water, spin it out the best you can (water is not your greens friend)

Store dry greens in a breathable container in a very cold fridge.

When you can. Buy local from your community.
