Due to the expected rain and 30+mph wind gusts, we will not be attending the Raeford Fall Fest tomorrow - Saturday October 17. Unfortunately the weather takes over another event 🥲 See us at Lumberton Airport next week Saturday October 24 for the Airport Fly-in/Cruise-In!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: 9th Annual Downtown Sanford StreetFest CANCELED

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of the 9th Annual Downtown Sanford StreetFest, scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, October 10.

After extensive conversations and careful consideration with our emergency services teams, meteorologists, community partners, and festival vendors and service providers, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's event due to the anticipated weather conditions associated with the remnants of the hurricane.

While StreetFest has always been a rain-or-shine event, the forecasted sustained winds and rainfall present safety concerns that we simply cannot ignore.

The safety and well-being of our residents, visitors, vendors, performers, volunteers, downtown businesses, and everyone involved in bringing this event to life will always be our highest priority. We do not take this responsibility lightly.

This was not an easy decision. Months of planning, countless volunteer hours, and tremendous support from our sponsors, partners, City departments, and community go into making StreetFest one of downtown Sanford's most anticipated celebrations. We know how much this event means to our community, and we share in your disappointment.

However, no festival is worth putting anyone's safety at risk. We believe making this decision now is the most responsible course of action for everyone involved.

But we do have something special to look forward to! Downtown Sanford, Inc. is planning a special holiday vendor event to bring our community together and provide another opportunity to support the talented artisans, makers, and small businesses who were scheduled to participate in StreetFest. We sincerely hope our StreetFest vendors will join us for this holiday celebration! Stay tuned for more details as we finalize plans.

To our sponsors, vendors, performers, volunteers, downtown merchants, City of Sanford partners, and the entire Sanford community: THANK YOU! Your enthusiasm, dedication, and continued support are what make Downtown Sanford StreetFest so special.

Hello everyone,

We regretfully announce that will not be able to attend the Asheboro Fall Fest for 10/3. We apologize for canceling on such a short notice, however we have been watching the weather like hawks and came to the conclusion it is better to stay home.

We always try to pull through, but with this being a 2 hour drive with likely thunderstorms rolling through we decided to be safe! ⛈

Our next market is Sanford Streetfest 10/10, hope to see you there!

No market yesterday but the weather held up for todays market! Out at the NC Taco Fest in Hope Mills until 4pm! Lots of vendors and lots of Taco stuff! 🌮☀️
