My family is going to an outdoor World Cup watch party tonight, and while it sounds like a ton of fun and I would normally go, it's about a thousand degrees and SUPER soupy outside, and I'm just not made for this weather. I would take snow ANY DAY over this (I see those glares!) 😂 Our dining room table (which is my craft table when we're not eating) is directly in front of the A/C, so I'm planning to sit there tonight and make something brand new. Between a trip to Michael's the other day and a bunch of subsequent googling, I've been inspired to try a new to me idea. While it may only end up containing a single button, that's enough for me to call it "button art." Any guesses?

Just thinking out loud here...I've seen quite a few handmade shops open and close in my time as a crafter. I always feel terrible, because I know how much heart and soul goes into artistic endeavors, but I concluded years ago (when I first noticed shops closing) that I think these types of places need to be connected to some type of daily routine/addiction type place (coffee being the obvious choice in my mind.) So many people need their daily coffee, but I'm not sure how many people need daily crafts/gifts. 2026 has me personally struggling with the "I can't afford gas/I'm buying World Cup tickets" dichotomy that has led me to believe I need to create more items that appeal to those World Cup fans. 😂 Anyway...thoughts from fellow crafters/small business owners? Will things ever get better? Anyone wanna open a "coffee, cats, and crafts" shop with me? Is it time to pivot?

Each bracelet shown is approximately 8" long, but can be fastened to a shorter length as well. $20 apiece for the "lighter" bracelets (vintage button and flip flop), and $28 apiece for the "chunkier" ones. Each comes in a jewelry box, perfect for storing or gifting. Tax/shipping additional, if applicable. As always, accepting custom orders.
