Hey WGC family,
We want to share something personal today — not for sympathy, but for honesty.
Jess recently ended up in the hospital with her blood sugar over 600. She was diagnosed with Type 3c diabetes, a genetic form that affects the pancreas and makes blood sugar extremely difficult to control. For more than a month she couldn’t eat anything. She lived off chicken broth, lost strength, and is still dealing with painful esophagus inflammation almost two months later. Healing has been slow and exhausting.
And I’m navigating chronic pain every single day — lupus, fibromyalgia, and bone spurs in my spine. Some days I can move. Some days I can’t. But every day, I try.
Even with all of this, we still push ourselves to be contributing members of society. We still create. We still work. We still show up because it matters to us — and because your support makes it possible. Your purchases, your messages, your encouragement… they help us keep going on days when our bodies feel like they’re giving up.
And if you live with chronic pain, chronic illness, or a disease that shapes your daily life — we see you. We understand you. We’re walking that road too.
This is the raw truth behind why Wicked Good Creations is taking a break until 2027. Our bodies forced us to slow down, and we’re listening. We’re limiting ourselves to in‑person events only and focusing on the boutique, because that’s what we can realistically manage while healing and rebuilding our strength.
We’re sharing this because we want you to know the truth: Wicked Good Creations is built by two women fighting battles you don’t always see but refusing to let those battles define us.
Thank you for being part of our journey. You help us more than you know.
