7 weeks till my half marathon… I can’t believe how fast time is flying.
This Europe trip turned into real training for me. From lack of sleep, to maybe a little too much wine with friends, to running with a sore throat and still holding my pace — it was something else.
Not to mention most of my runs were on hills… a big change from flat Houston. While I’m grateful for this kind of training, I’m also very happy to be heading back to Houston. Sleeping in my own bed will definitely help me train even better for race day.

People keep asking me about my solo travel tips.
The truth is, every time I travel with friends or family, I always try to book 2–3 days just for myself to relax and reset. Exploring places solo pushes you outside your comfort zone like nothing else.
And if you think by now I’m used to solo traveling — you’re mistaken. It feels different every single time.
One thing I always do is pack a few face masks and little things that help me create “me time,” no matter where I am.
This time I was so excited — sent me their new Travel Size Glow Kit, and it really helps my skin stay fresh and glowing even when I’m traveling and my routine is completely off.

There’s something undeniably romantic about wandering through Carcassonne. With its storybook towers, ancient stone walls, and cobblestone streets that have stood for over 2,500 years, this medieval city feels frozen in time. 🥑🍌 Avocado & Banana Mini Pancakes (Avocado Banana Syrniki)
Creamy, golden, and packed with protein, healthy fats, and natural sweetness — these mini pancakes are a fun twist on classic syrniki and make the perfect nourishing breakfast.

You will need:
• 1 ripe banana
• 1 ripe avocado
• 1 lb (450 g) farmer’s cheese or cottage cheese
• 1 egg
• 1 cup flour (plus more if needed and for shaping)
• 1 tsp vanilla
• Oil spray, for cooking
• Honey (optional, for serving)

Mash the banana and avocado until smooth and creamy. Add the farmer’s cheese, egg, and vanilla. Mix very well until fully combined.
Gradually add the flour and mix until you get a thick, workable dough. Depending on how moist your cheese is, you may need to add a little more flour until the dough holds its shape and is easy to handle.
Lightly flour your work surface. Take a spoonful of dough and place it onto the floured board. Dust lightly with flour and gently shape with your hands into a small round pancake.
For perfectly even circles, place a cup over the dough and rotate it gently in a circular motion to shape.
Lightly spray a pan with oil and heat over medium to low heat. Cook the pancakes for about 4 minutes on each side, covered, until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve warm — creamy and tender inside, golden on the outside. Drizzle with honey if you like.

Hyrox Aftermath ➡️ 10 Weeks Till Half Marathon

My first few Hyrox races were honestly just me testing the waters. I couldn’t run long distances, and my aerobic base? Pretty much nonexistent. Weights — yes. Combining them with running? Absolutely not.
But I challenge myself in many ways, and Hyrox has become one of those ways to test my survival skills — physically and mentally.
This race was the first one I approached strategically. I analyzed my timing, mapped my pacing, and set a clear target. I missed it by 6 minutes… but shaved off 14 minutes from my last race — and that’s a win in my book.
One day of rest — and I’m already back to half marathon training.
10 weeks to go.
Let’s see what this body can do next. 🏃‍♀️🔥

Итоги Hyrox ➡️ 10 недель до полумарафона

Мои первые Hyrox были скорее «прощупыванием почвы». Я никогда не могла бегать длинные дистанции, а про аэробную базу вообще молчу. Силовые — да. Совмещать их с бегом? Тогда — точно нет.
Но я люблю бросать себе вызовы, и Hyrox стал одним из способов проверить свои «навыки выживания» — физические и ментальные.
Этот раз впервые я подошла стратегически: анализировала время, продумывала темп, строила план, чтобы попасть в целевой результат. Да, я вышла за цель на 6 минут дольше… но улучшила прошлый результат на 14 минут — и это для меня победа.
Один день отдыха — и я уже снова в подготовке к полумарафону.
10 недель до старта.
Посмотрим, на что ещё способно это тело. 🏃‍♀️🔥
