Haven’t posted any current work lately, so here’s some of my latest creations. Ava & I had the privilege to paint her best friend’s parking space for her Senior year this year, I also got the chance to paint some living books outside my friend’s English classroom, and started a new art piece inspired by our beautiful beach vacation this past summer to Seaside…we stayed in Watercolor, so it only seemed fitting to start with watercolors of course. ☺️

This year I’m getting back to FB & hoping to come back out of the protective cocoon I’ve created for myself and my little family. I’m finally going to get serious about my artwork and stop being afraid to “put myself out there”. Vulnerability is hard, and for the last few years I have guarded that necessary action by keeping to myself and not sharing any part of our life. I have been reminded that we must be vulnerable in order to connect—and truly…art IS connection. I’ll be posting sketches and ideas from my sketchbook each day—these are rough outlines of ideas, things I’m working out, and a way to track progress and growth in my artist journey. FB is a sort of scrapbook for me, and the last few years I’ve left ALOT of blank pages in the book. So here’s to more photos, more progress, and more vulnerability—taking on the things that scare me and going in head first! Happy New Year! 🥳 Cheers!🥂V

I got a last minute commission a little bit a ago, and really wanted to get it out for Christmas…it’s headed for delivery 📦…a sweet pet portrait for a sweet little girl who lost her cat recently. 🐈‍⬛ These make wonderful gifts 🎁 and I enjoy creating them.

Hey friends! 👋🏻 Its been awhile since I’ve posted, but I’m still creating. 😉 Lately I’ve discovered that I really LOVE painting dogs 🐶. Two important people in my life recently lost their beloved puppies, and I had the honor to paint their portraits.
