I had the privilege of engraving these glasses for the gala fundraiser this past weekend. I was also lucky enough to attend. It was a good turnout and it looked like they raised a lot of money for a great cause. This is a great event and the teachers and students that help put it together do an amazing job every year.

A friend of mine reached out to see if I could help make a sign for his work. I'd never done anything like that before, but we didn't let that stop us. It turned out awesome! I cut and engraved the acrylic, he did the rest.
This was cut out of a 38"x52" piece of 1/8" clear acrylic from Houston Acrylic
The large bed of the
51-130 really came in handy on this one!

I had all the machines working yesterday! I had spatulas for on one, conduit tags for Pfeiffer & Son on one and a couple of HEB cups on the other.

When the item is too bigger than the workspace, you have to improvise.

I had to have some laser work done for myself yesterday. I somehow ended up with a 10mm stone hanging out where it didn't belong. Hopefully I'll find out more about what it's made of during the post op meeting next week.
Glad it's gone!
