My latest creations. 15 Christmas stockings for my work family. They’re not „christmasy“ but I wanted them to be individualized for each person and asked each their top 3 favorite colors. Such a lofty goal for myself but I’m glad I finished. (Mine is #15 but I for got to take a picture) 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

So in the last two years I’ve been on a journey of using less plastic and developing a cleaner and more sustainable lifestyle and not using harsh chemicals. So far my favorite switch is thieves oil. Not only does it just smell good but it can be used in laundry or countertops cleaner, room spray.

Monthly fabric collection!! I am in LOVE with these patterns... probably going to go buy more in these prints!! Safety pins... buttons.... measuring sticks and I’m working on my PHD projects half done 😍😍😍

Today’s project is brought to you today by MaryBeth Pearcy. I told her how much I love my reusable snack bags that I made for my own personal low waste/ eco conscious journey that she asked that I make her a few.

I used some laminated cotton** for the inside and a regular piece of cotton fabric for the outside. The zipper doesn’t match at all because I like to use upcycled zippers when available... but she said that was ok.

The inside pattern is the same as the background piece

**Laminated cotton fabric. A thin soft protective polyurethane film is laminated to the face of the cotton fabric making it wipe clean and washable. Similar to oilcloth but softer, more pliable and approved for use in children's products (unlike oilcloth) Common uses are tablecloths, raincoats, bibs, mats, and bags.

The finished size is 8x7 inches.... and overall a little smaller than a quArt sized bag.

Note to selfs
#1 adjust my pattern for an actual quart size
#2 zipper foots are your friend
#3 don’t be so hard on yourself

Ok now that my friend finally received her surprise I can post it on here now!! Kinda proud of this one. Baby blanket with the softest material I’ve ever worked with! Final measurements were around 36”x48”

Check out these Reusuable “paper” towels I just finished creating! I cut the pieces at 9x12 however after heming the edges with the overcast stitch (I don’t have a serge machine... maybe one day) the final product is 8 3/4 x 11 3/4 inches.

The pattern is multi colored circles (blue, grey, yellow) on a white background.

These cotton flannel towels are the perfect replacement for single use paper towels, single use napkins, and wipes for little hands and faces.
Using these heels Keep trash out of the landfill and decreasing your carbon footprint.

Cotton flannelette naturally clings to itself after washing, so they can be wrapped on your current paper towel holder. They are 1ply and have the same, if not more, absorbency than paper towels.

For laundering, prewash before first use, and wash/dry with like colors. 🛁 🧽

Just another project of mine. I made matching toiletry bags for Zach and I.

Surprisingly zippers are super easy for me so I enjoy making random bags to hold every little thing.

This one was made with a duck canvas that is water resistant on the outside and a soft but durable linen on the inside. This particular bag has two seperate pockets. I personally like keeping my makeup seperate from the toiletry items.... but it can also be made to have just one large pocket.

Here’s a past project I made. Tshirt memory blanket. Your memories are safe with me. I’ll take care of them as if they were my own memories. And I love creating something that can be used or at least displayed instead of all those T-shirts’ that don’t fit anymore just crammed in a box in the back of the closet. Send them to me!!! I’ll give them a new purpose!
