Almost 40 years ago and apparently I had no idea how cool I was. 😏

Lounging on a friend’s Milo Baughman sofa upholstered in Lenor Larsen fabric… completely unaware that decades later I’d still be obsessed with beautiful things from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s.

Maybe modern vintage was always in my DNA.

My grandmother, Margaret Ophelia. A beautifully French family story, a father who came to New Orleans from France as a teenage stowaway, and generations later… here we are.

Happy Mother’s Day to the moms, grandmothers, single moms, mentors, and all the women who have loved and nurtured others along the way.

And to my girls — I couldn’t be prouder of the mothers you’ve become. 🤍

…and I guess I carry a little piece of her every day, being her namesake. 🤍
