Blue Genie Bazaar in Austin starts this weekend! Yay! 🙌 Unfortunately, my booth won't be there for opening weekend, as I got sick and didn't get to set up my space when it was my turn 😞. BUT, there will be other amazing vendors/artists there, so if you're in Austin and are looking for special gifts, please stop by. There's just about something for everyone, so check out 's profile for a preview of some of the vendors there. I woke up this morning still in shock at what happened this weekend at the Fiesta Arts Festival. My mind is blown by the support of everyone who stopped by my booth despite the weird weather. It was our first time visiting San Antonio and we had a great time! I loved talking to everyone and hearing amazing stories related to how they know about the molas. This was my first time using the new-to-me canopy and even though it’s a bit brutal to setup, it really makes my booth looks more professional. Shoutout to for letting me borrow her mesh walls 🙌 and another one for , who was our back neighbor and made it so much more fun 😆.

Huge THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to the patrons, volunteers and sponsors for supporting all the artists at the festival 🫶🙌🙏🏻. If they’ll have me, I’ll definitely come back next year! 😀

P.S. My husband did not direct me on where to stand in front of the butterfly wings, so I’m off centered 😅

Wish everyone happiness and prosperity! I was born in the year of the horse, so I felt obligated to draw a design with a horse 😁. I've tried coming up with a design for every Chinese Zodiac sign and have failed, as I've missed a couple of years already 😅. ⁣

Have you ever heard of the ocean sunfish? The first time I saw it was at the Monterrey Aquarium. It looked haunting and scary, just swimming with the other fish in the largest tank, in circles. I felt bad for it because it was the only of its kind in that tank. I do wonder if it felt lonely. Swipe to see the pics I took at the aquarium, 20 years ago... wait... 20 years ago???? 😲⁣

Apparently, it's also called "mola mola", so I made a mola-inspired design of a mola mola fish. How fitting, isn't it? 😁 I had that idea for a couple of years but drew it in my sketchbook almost a year ago. Last week, I suddenly felt like finally finish drawing it 😊.⁣
