A beautiful walnut slab table for Robin Bond Interiors. This 105" long slice of walnut came from Boerne Mesquite Sawmill. In the last photo, you can see two holes close to the end of the table as well as a chain hanging below. When it's finally installed, there will be black chain hanging from the ceiling down to an anchor that fits into the two holes. The effect will look like the chain goes from the ceiling, through the table, then onto the floor. Sealed and varnished, sanding between coats until the top was smooth with virtually no grain showing, allowing for this bar table to resist liquids and be easy to clean.

New unique table for sale! I had some materials available and made this table to sell as a non-commissioned piece. This would make an excellent kitchen or dining table.

The radiused solid oak top measures 82" (6' 10") by 36". The table has a 30" overall height. The base is made from solid ash wood. This ash has been stored outdoors since 2019, being subject to weather and the elements for years, giving the wood some wonderful rustic character. The center stretcher has the look of a hand-hewn beam which I painstakingly crafted myself with a hatchet and other implements.

The top has been very subtly sculpted with my 100+ year old Bailey "scrub" plane, which is a hand plane with a slightly curved blade, creating the crosshatch pattern you can see in the photos. A dark stain was applied, then mostly removed with a wire drum burnisher, accenting the texture of the hand planing and revealing a lot of grain texture. Over this, brown tinted shellac was hand brushed for a deep, rich color. Finally, several coats of polyurethane were sprayed on for a durable satin finish.

The base has been "aged" with a multi-step process using stains, rasps, implements designed to make marks and scars, and burnishing in order to create a timeworn appearance. The heavy ash base was then finished with multiple coats of satin polyurethane.

If I was commissioned to build this table, my fee would be around $2,800. But I specifically built this table to sell quickly because... well, bills. To facilitate an expedient sale, I'll take offers for it. Message me. I'll be posting this on multiple sites along with this pinned post. I'll update the current high offer on this post for reference (no names of course). At the end of the week, I'll consider the offers, so don't be afraid to throw a number out there, low, high, or otherwise.

Free delivery if destination is within 30 miles of Bandera, TX. I will help carry the table in, but I will require someone to be there to help move the table.

Here's a small project for Mr. Timothy G. A bread box / paper towel dispenser. Made from juniper, knotty alder, and mounted on a mesquite slab with turquoise inlay. Gold longhorn pull on the bread box to match his kitchen cabinet pulls.

This unit was also for my client Lisa K. It is a coffee service bar and pantry. The side cabinets house Rev-A-Shelf storage shelves, and pocket doors in the center section open to allow access to the coffee maker. A marble slab will be installed in the center section (not shown).

Here's a kitchen island I made for my awesome client Lisa K.
The island features drawers on both sides (some are faux drawers, directly opposite the real drawers), a double waste bin, spice racks in the top drawers, and Sherwin Williams paint.

Here's a coffee table for my longtime client and friend Timothy G.
The top is made from sawmill pecan, walnut, and mesquite from Boerne Mesquite Sawmill and Clint Cupps sawmill. The base is made from walnut, hickory, and mesquite with a stretcher made of layers of all three woods.

Here's an update to an earlier project. I received final install pics from the contractor Ray Delgado handling the renovation for the home where this vanity was delivered. Looks pretty nice in this newly remodeled bathroom!

Another one delivered for Robin Bond Interiors! If you are thinking of making some improvements to your home, check out Robin Bond Interiors. She and her team do absolutely amazing work.
The most challenging aspect of this piece was the center stretcher, which curves inward on both sides as well as the top & bottom. I finally decided on a series of plywood "plates", each with a different size and edge bevels, conforming to follow the progression of the curves. Over this framework went layers of bendable plywood. Then the center was joined to two columns, called "plinths." Then finally the whole assembly was veneered with oak. The table top is solid oak, grain filled to be smooth and varnished.
