🏠 For Homes that Crave Creativity

From the time I was in high school, I loved to decorate. I always bought used furniture or accedpted hand-me downs out of necessity in my younger days. Before I knew it, it was out with the new and in with the old. I no longer liked new furniture and that is how Chic it Simple was developed. I am a floral designer/manager for Pappas Restaurants by day and on the weekends and nights I like to work on furniture. This is truly a passion for me. I appreciate you taking the time to look at my page and I hope you like what you see.

What a month!!!

This has officially been the best month yet for my new little business, and I just want to say THANK YOU.

To everyone who has trusted me with your home and purchased a virtual design from Kiki Reese Designs — I have truly loved creating every single one of them. I hope you’ve loved seeing your spaces come to life just as much as I’ve loved dreaming them up for you.

And now… I’ll be on a very important special assignment for the next 12 days — aka vacationing in Europe. 🇮🇹🇫🇷😉

I’m planning to soak up every beautiful hotel, café, shop window, fabric, color combination, piece of art and fabulous European detail I can find. I have a feeling I’ll be coming home with a camera roll full of inspiration and lots of fresh ideas!

And if you’ve been thinking about having me design a space for you, it’s not too late to get on my November design calendar! The holidays are coming, and I know you want your home looking beautiful and ready for all the fun that comes with them.

Comment “KIKI” below or send me a private message, and I’ll get you on my design calendar as soon as I’m back!

Thank you for making this new chapter so much fun. I’m just getting started. 💗

À bientôt, mes amis! 🇫🇷
See you soon, my friends!

I love playing with color combinations that don’t necessarily seem “obvious” at first — because those are usually the rooms that end up having the most personality.

Would you have thought to put these colors together? 👍🏻 or 👎🏻

Someone said “pretend this wall isn’t here”… so I did. 😌
Two rooms became one big, layered gathering space where the whole family can actually be together. Blue pine sprig walls, gold stripe drapes, a burgundy mantel with geese keeping watch, skirted sofas, and fringe on the dining chairs, because why not? 🪿Swipe to see the details ➡️

Would you knock down the wall? Tell me below 👇
Want this energy in your home? Virtual design is open for November! Comment Kiki if you want to get on the design calendar.

I’m about to ask a VERY controversial question… 👀

Do I leave this gorgeous wood vanity alone…

OR do I dare p**s off the internet and PAINT IT?! 😳😂

Because you know me — just because the wood is beautiful doesn’t mean I’m not tempted to Kiki it with a fabulous color.

So before I commit a potential furniture felony…

TEAM LEAVE THE WOOD 🤎
or
TEAM PAINT IT 🎨

And if you’re Team Paint It — WHAT COLOR?!

I have a feeling the comments on this one are going to be divided. 😂

Dopamine decor is a trend I can get behind.
Color. Pattern. Personality. A room that makes you happy every single time you walk into it.

That’s kind of my thing. 😉

If your home could use a little more joy, I can help.

Comment KIKI and I’ll send you the details.
