From the time I was in high school, I loved to decorate. I always bought used furniture or accedpted hand-me downs out of necessity in my younger days. Before I knew it, it was out with the new and in with the old. I no longer liked new furniture and that is how Chic it Simple was developed. I am a floral designer/manager for Pappas Restaurants by day and on the weekends and nights I like to work

Would you have saved this chair? This little chair had definitely seen better days… but she had good bones and I could already picture the charm hiding underneath. With a little patience, a lot of fabric, and a whole lot of “trust the process” she received the full Kiki Effect!

Y’all know I love color, charm, and spaces that feel happy the second you walk in.

And lately I’ve been thinking…

What if I brought a little Kiki effect to short-term rentals?

Especially those sweet spots hosting bridal parties, girls’ weekends, and celebration trips.

Because let’s be honest…

A clean rental is nice.

But a rental with personality?

The one with color, charm, playful details, and a space guests instantly start photographing?
