Hi all,
Just a quick Medicare update for those that are already enrolled in Medicare. It's that time of year for AEP. Let me know how I can help you with your decisions. Message me or call.
Blessings
The AEP in Medicare refers to the Annual Enrollment Period (also known as Annual Election Period). This is a specific time each year when people eligible for Medicare can make changes to their Medicare coverage. The AEP typically runs from October 15 to December 7. During this period, Medicare beneficiaries can:
Switch from Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) to a Medicare Advantage plan (Part C) or vice versa.
Change from one Medicare Advantage plan to another.
Enroll in or switch between Medicare Part D (prescription drug plans).
Drop Medicare Part D coverage altogether.
Changes made during AEP take effect on January 1 of the following year.
It's important for beneficiaries to review their coverage annually to ensure it still meets their healthcare needs and to take advantage of any new plan offerings.
