This vanity is the star of the room with One Hour Enamel in Poseidon, a blue/green so deeply pigmented it sits right at the edge of black. It levels out smooth, dries fast, and cures tough enough for the daily wear that cabinets take.

Moody walls, brass details, and a little gallery moment. Shade Green is a dark, cool green with gray undertones and a hint of blue, and it looks beautiful next to wood and metal.

Painted in One Hour Ceramic, a 100% acrylic matte wall paint that is very durable and washable, which makes it great for bathrooms. Ceramic microspheres give it superior stain resistance, so fingerprints, grease, and soil wash off with mild soap and water. It’s self-priming on drywall, cured plaster, and masonry, low VOC, and spatter-resistant, with a satin-smooth matte finish that has the depth of an enamel.

Mid Century Hollywood Regency, served💙

Amanda at took a vintage Henry Link Bali Hai set and gave it a deep, true navy finish with antique gold hardware and gold-capped feet. The faux bamboo detailing looks so crisp against that satin sheen, and the finish came out factory smooth.

Wise Owl Paint facts:

🍀 If you use the Varnish or One Hour Enamel clear on floors, it’s best to avoid the matte finish since years of foot traffic will “polish” the mattifying agents causing certain areas to be shinier. Use satin or semi.

☘️ You should never paint or glaze over wax or salve. It needs to be removed to ensure proper adhesion. The exception to this is if you are using a wax resist method.

☘️ One Hour Enamel is ideal for any surface that is not designed to flex, bend, or swell with water (if used outdoors)
It is a stone hard finish and isn’t stretchy like latex paints. It may also be used on metal.

☘️ Our stain eliminating primer is a binding primer and tannin blocker. Our paints will adhere to anything clean, dry, and dull but the primer gives extra adhesion for a lasting finish and locks in naturally occuring tannins in wood.

☘️ Any of our paints or water-based topcoats can be sprayed. Paints can be thinned by up to 10% with water if needed. Never thin One Hour Enamel Clear or Varnish with water. Topcoats should be applied at full strength.

🍀 Never clean a furniture piece with oil soap before painting. The oils will repel the paint and prevent a proper bond. Before sanding and then primer/paint, we recommend first cleaning with our GreenEZ Quart cleaner and then fully rinsing with water.
