Ceramic and porcelain get used interchangeably, but they're not identical twins. 🧱 Porcelain is denser and fired at higher temps, making it ideal for high-moisture, high-traffic spots like bathrooms and entryways. Standard ceramic is a bit softer and easier to cut — great for backsplashes and walls. Knowing the difference makes tile shopping way less overwhelming!

Matte finishes also hide minor scuffs way better than glossy ones. Small details, long-term payoff.
