Fall is almost here, and we’re ready to welcome it with you. 🍂

🍂 A little more fall is making its way into Beauty in the Making, and I have to say… this is such a fun time of year in the shop. 🍂

Every day we’re unpacking and putting out more of the textures, colors, and little details that make this season feel so special.

Beautiful throws, natural textures, touches of the harvest season, pieces for the kitchen and table, and those little unexpected finds that just make a home feel collected and loved.

We’re not quite ready for our full Fall Reveal yet… there is still so much more coming! But we couldn’t resist giving you another little peek.

Cozy throws, tea towels, little brass dishes, fall pumpkins, and those special little pieces that make your home feel collected and loved.

I love this time of year when we start adding a little more texture, deeper colors, and layers to our homes. You don’t have to change everything for a new season. Sometimes just one beautiful piece can make your space feel new again.

Sometimes what we put on our walls can be more than something beautiful.

It can be a reminder.

To breathe in joy.
To trust God’s timing.
To remember His goodness.
To welcome the Holy Spirit.
To hold onto hope.

We have some beautiful wall art in the shop, and I love that these pieces don’t just fill an empty wall. They can speak something meaningful into our homes every single day.

We only have a few available, so if one speaks to your heart, come see it before it’s gone.

And maybe that’s one of my favorite things about creating a home… surrounding ourselves with things that remind us of what matters most.

Have you tried our Norma’s fruit snacks yet?

I have to tell you, these are one of those little things I keep reaching for. They’re sweet, simple, made with clean organic ingredients, and just the kind of snack that feels like a treat without feeling like too much.

Right now we have:

Peach + White Mulberry
Elderberry + Ginger
Strawberry + Rhubarb

My favorite is Peach + White Mulberry, while David cannot stay away from the Elderberry + Ginger. 😉

It may be a rainy day in Hughesville, but we have a few good reasons to stop in. ☔️

Fresh sourdough bread and English muffins are here, along with one of our favorite treats, Normus fruit snacks.

And yes, the Peach + White Mulberry is my favorite.

Some pieces are meant to be used… and beautiful enough to leave out.

For those who may not know this part of my story…

In 2017, while I was living in Florida, I wrote a coffee table book called Everything Works Together.

At the time, I had no idea I would one day own a store. I never imagined I would move away from Florida. I simply wanted to create something that would bring hope, beauty, and inspiration into people’s homes.

Looking back now, it feels so special to see that book sitting inside Beauty in the Making.

Since opening the store, we added a soft white dust jacket to the book for a quieter, more decorative look. So now you can display it with the original cover or with the dust jacket, depending on what fits your space best.

Sometimes we create something without knowing where it will lead, and years later, we get to see how the pieces were coming together all along.

For the month of August, Everything Works Together is available for $20.

Pick up a copy for yourself, or give one to someone who could use a little encouragement and inspiration.

A little more fall is finding its way into the shop every day. 🍂

We’ve been unpacking, styling, and adding new pieces throughout the store, and it’s so much fun watching everything come together.

And one favorite is back… our little mouse place card holders are fully stocked again and ready to hold a photo, place card, little sign, or whatever you dream up.

There’s still more to come, but for now, come enjoy a little taste of fall with us.

Fall is beginning to find its way into the shop. 🍂

There’s something about this season that makes me want to slow down, make home a little cozier, light a candle, add a few pumpkins, and enjoy the simple beauty of what’s changing around us.

We’ve started adding a few fall touches around the store, and it already feels so special.
