Custom walnut and spalted hickory box for storing knives. This was a custom commission piece. The lid and bottom are book-matched spalted hickory panels. The side walls are black walnut. The contrast of the brass hardware and the wine-colored flocking make this a really striking piece.

I'll be at Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art Altoona this Friday evening for Art After Dark. I had a great time at the last one of these.

It'll be an evening full of local artists, music, craft vendors, and more. Come on out and support local artists this holiday season!

I'll be at the Winter Craft Market tomorrow (December 6) with these spalted maple keepsake boxes I just finished. If you're in the State College area tomorrow, come on out.
