🌵🚀 CREW SPOTLIGHT: Something2GrowOn

Okay, cactus collectors… THIS ONE IS FOR YOU.

Maddy + Shy of Something2GrowOn are making the trip from Oklahoma to PlantFest Huntsville, and they're bringing some seriously cool plants with them.

Something2GrowOn is a woman-owned, licensed Oklahoma nursery specializing in cacti + succulents—and here's the part we really love:
🌱 Grown by them. No imports.

Their collection goes way beyond the cacti you see at your average garden center. Think uncommon cacti, Euphorbias, caudiciforms, variegated specimens, monstrose growth forms, seed-grown plants and all kinds of wonderfully weird desert treasures. 👀🌵

They've also been taking their plants all over the country to cactus shows, botanical gardens and major plant events—and now their next mission is HUNTSVILLE. 🚀

📅 November 7–8 | 10 AM–4 PM
📍 Von Braun Center | Huntsville, AL
⚠️ Fair warning: You may arrive saying you "aren't really a cactus person" and leave PlantFest as a cactus person.

🚀🌿 REPORTING FOR PLANTFEST DUTY: Pure Joy Plants !

This vendor probably needs no introduction for our Huntsville plant people. 💚

Pure Joy Plants is HOME GROWN right here in Huntsville! Owner Yarden Binns launched the business in 2020 with Huntsville’s first plant truck, eventually growing that little mobile jungle into the Pure Joy Plants shop at Lowe Mill.

And the name? When Yarden was trying to decide what to call her new venture, her husband asked what plants brought her.

Her answer: “Pure Joy.” 🌱🥹 Huntsville

Now she’s bringing that joy to PlantFest with a mix of houseplants and some seriously interesting collector finds. Pure Joy is known for everything from beginner-friendly favorites to unusual and rare plants—the kind that make you stop mid-aisle and say, “Okay…what IS that?!” 👀
