Here’s a maple burl bowl I turned last year and forgot to post. It’s 11” x 4.5”.

It’ll have it for sale at Panoply next weekend.

Happy New Year!

My lathe broke back in September and I finally got it back up and running on Wednesday and took it for a spin to celebrate the New Year!

Hackberry 9” x 5”. It needs to dry some more and will need sanding again, but it’s so nice to be back in the groove.

Nine years ago, I was so proud of this little oak bottle stopper that I posted it to InstaFace.

The second picture are the ones I cranked out yesterday.

It’s fun to see how far you’ve come…

The third picture has the first two things I ever tuned on a lathe. They became handles to burn lines with a guitar string. After nearly a decade, it finally broke. Good thing I changed my strings last night and have a replacement.

This little walnut bowl caused my poor back a world of hurt. Thankfully there’s a good physical therapy right around the corner.

Not sure I’ll have much of the smaller kitchenware for the Monte Sano show, though.
