This week, we’re proud to recognize one of those special people: Melissa Cleckler, our Director of Operations, as part of Women in Construction Week.
Great projects require more than materials and installation - they require coordination, accountability, and someone ensuring all the moving pieces actually move together.
That’s where Melissa comes in.
Around our office, she’s affectionately known as our “Chief of Staff.” And anyone who has worked with her understands why.
Melissa plays an instrumental role in keeping CFS running smoothly. From ensuring accuracy in accounts payable to persistently pursuing accounts receivable, from supporting project management needs to (quite literally) herding cats when schedules get complicated - she brings organization, tenacity, and steady leadership to the work, keeping our team on track to execute our mission.
But what truly sets Melissa apart is the quality of person she is.
She approaches challenges with determination. She connects with each person that walks through our door. And she shows up every day with a team-first mindset that strengthens everyone around her.
In construction, the details matter.

Melissa makes sure those things happen.
