So I have been keeping something a bit of a secret for a few months I was approached at Gem State Comic Con about doing an interview about leather working and it is happening tonight.

⚔️ Tournament of Champions ⚔️

Join us on Saturday, September 4th and 5th, at the Southern Idaho Renaissance Faire, held at the Cassia County Fairgrounds in Burley, Idaho, for the Tournament of Champions on the 5th!

Entry into the tournament is free for all patrons of the faire. The tournament is open to anyone with less than one year of sword-fighting experience in the Belegarth Medieval Combat Society.

Anyone interested in competing must check in at The Smith of All Trades booth to sign a waiver and receive an official tournament entry token.

The top four fighters will each receive a prize consisting of a handmade leather armor piece, crafted especially for the tournament.

The Tournament of Champions is proudly sponsored by The Smith of All Trades.

Come test your skills, cheer on the fighters, and see who will rise as a Champion!

Building a business while working a full-time job is not easy.

Most mornings, I am up around 5:30 or 6:00. I spend the next 40 to 50 hours of my week working my regular job, often until 4:00 or 5:00 in the afternoon.

Then I come home, eat a quick dinner, and start working all over again.

Most nights, I am in the shop until 9:00 or 10:00, cutting leather, building inventory for upcoming events, and finishing custom orders for clients. The only time I usually take off from my regular job is when we are traveling to an event.

There are long days, tired nights, missed weekends, and moments when it would be much easier to slow down.

But I know what I am working toward.

I am building a future for myself and my fiancée. I am building something that belongs to us. Something created through hard work, sacrifice, creativity, and a shared love for leatherworking and the events we attend together.

We love meeting people, creating pieces that will become part of their stories, and watching this dream grow one order and one event at a time.

This business is more than a side job to me. It is a dream I refuse to give up on.

Every early morning, every late night, every sore hand, and every mile traveled is an investment in the life we want to build together.

The road may be exhausting, but the destination is worth fighting for.

So while I was at Gem State Comic Con this year I had a gentleman ask me about making one of my gauntlets into something that could store darts. I am happy to say after a few trial and errors I figured it out and here is one of many new items for those how play darts. The upper part will hold a total of 9 darts and the lower portion can hold around 18 tips.

So now that Gem State Comic Con is over time to regroup and resupply for the next event. Which will be Mystic Realms Fantasy Fair June 26th to the 28th in Pocatello idaho. We will have all kinds of wonderful hand crafted leather goods ranging from bags to armor for all your reinassance faire and cosplay needs. Looking forward to see you all there take care everyone.

I want to thank everyone from Gem State Comic Con for the amazing convention. I am already looking forward to next year and am planning some awesome new items exclusively for that event.
