After the show report: Inman SC Hometown Harvest Festival
Our show rating 6 stars, 5 just doesn't quite get there!
The venue, downtown Inman, City management closed off several streets to facilitate the event, it was just outstanding in every way.
The event coordinators, maintained open communication with us prior to the show vendor spots were well marked and arrival and set up was outstanding. Our hats are off for the coordinators and event staff! What a wonderful and talented group of people!
The weather, as it turned out just about as good as you could hope for! No rain rather cool until 11AM, then overcast and 70's throughout the event.
Parking, was beyond excellent for vendors and event attendees as well! There was even a taxi service! We've never seen that before, but what a great idea!
The crowd was heavy to very heavy from opening at 9AM til closing at 5PM.
The event, it was just great! Sales were brisk to heavy throughout the day, we met so many wonderful people, we were sorry it didn't last until sundown and end with fireworks!
Pack up and exiting this show was almost flawless, with an event of this size we weren't expecting the exit to be a good time, but the event staff kept a tight lid on yhe situation and we've never had such an easy exit from a show of this size. Its usually a painful free for all, again our hats are off to the event staff! They really showed their metal here!
Special shout out to the Inman Police force, you guys are so good at doing a very hard and thankless job. Thank you and you make us very proud to call Inman home!
Vendor shout out, Kempson's Rexall Drug Store.
They have undoubtedly the best hot dogs and hamburgers in the upstate! We are going to be regulars here from now on! Their Old Time Soda Fountain is something everyone should experience at least once!
