A little behind-the-scenes update on this year’s Wave of Light Collection.

It hasn’t gone exactly according to plan, but we’re still on track and getting closer every day. I’m in the home stretch now — just one final round of candles to pour before we move on to labeling and packing.

Thank you for being so patient and for giving me the time to make each candle for your families.

I can’t wait to get these into your hands and, together, light the night on October 15. ✨

Wave of Light candle pouring is officially in progress ✨

There’s a lot that goes into getting these candles from my work table to families around the world in time for Wave of Light on October 15, so I thought I’d bring you along for the entire process.

I typically handle all of the production on my own, but today I was lucky enough to have a little extra pair of hands helping me get started. 🌈

As always, it’s an honor to make these candles for families who have lost a baby during pregnancy or infancy. Knowing that these candles will be lit in honor of their babies makes all of the time, work, and effort that goes into them worth it.

Our 2026 Wave of Light preorders are officially closed, but I wanted to do one more little something for this community.

Over the past week, I’ve seen your comments and messages, including from some of you who wanted a candle this year but weren’t able to purchase one. So before I get too far into production, I’m setting aside three candles to give away to three families.

Each winner will receive one candle from our 2026 Wave of Light Collection with their choice of fragrance.

A little over a month ago, families from around the world who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss shared the names of their babies with me to be part of our annual Wave of Light Collection.

Today, as preorders come to a close, I’m reflecting on the thousands of names that have been entrusted to me and the incredible community that has come together around this collection. I’m so grateful for every family who chose to share their baby’s name with me and allowed me to create something so deeply personal for them. Thank you doesn’t feel like enough.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be hand-pouring each candle with so much love — for you, your loved ones, and most importantly, for your babies. I can’t wait to continue bringing this collection to life and sharing parts of this next phase with you.

Yesterday, we opened preorders for our annual Wave of Light Collection, honoring babies who left far too soon, with each of their names wrapped around our candles.

My babies’ names are a part of it, too.

Over the past day, I’ve been taking in all the emotions this collection brings. Behind every name on these candles is a family whose life has been forever changed by the loss of their baby. My heart breaks knowing how many of us share this experience, but there’s also something incredibly beautiful about coming together to remember our babies.

Six years ago, when I was in the trenches of my own grief after losing Sage and wondering how I would survive another day without him, lighting a candle brought me so much comfort.

Every morning, the first thing I did was make sure a candle was lit in my home. Seeing it burning gave me a sense of peace and, somehow, made me feel like Sage was there. I still feel that way.

Now I get to make candles for families all around the world.

My hope is that they bring even a small piece of that same comfort to each one.

To all of you who know this kind of loss, I see you, and I’m honored to remember your babies with you.

Preorders for our annual Wave of Light Collection are now open. ✨

Every year, this collection brings up so many emotions, and today I’ve found myself simply taking it all in. As your orders have come in, I’ve read every note you’ve left me, and I want you to know they mean so much to me.

Six years ago, when I was in the trenches of my own grief after losing Sage, wondering how I would survive another day without him, lighting a candle brought me so much comfort. For months, I would wake up every morning and it was the first thing I would do. I remember running out of candles one day and breaking down, so my family went out and brought me every white unscented candle they could find at the store. When a candle was lit, I felt like he was in our home. I still feel this way today.

Now I get to create these candles for you, and my hope is that they bring even a small piece of that same comfort during a time when you need it most.

For the past six years, our Remembering You Always candle has been part of our Wave of Light Collection as an option for families who would like a personalized candle with their baby’s name.

Many families choose to pair it with one of our names candles, while others choose it on its own. For those who missed name submissions, it’s also another way to take part in Wave of Light.

This year, the small details of this candle were designed to feel deeply personal. My friend Hailey hand-lettered the words Remembering You Always to resemble a handwritten note to your baby. Knowing she also understands pregnancy and infant loss made this collaboration feel especially meaningful.

We also added hand-drawn stars and a moon to complement the design and the spirit of the Wave of Light. Light.

Here are all the names of babies being honored on this year’s Wave of Light candles.

As you swipe through, you’ll find the name groups for each candle in the collection. Names have been organized alphabetically and divided across 17 candles based on the first letter of the first name submitted to us.

Our labels wrap around each jar, and this is a visual of how the names will appear on the label. For this preview, I’ve removed the center Wave of Light artwork so you can easily see the full list of names. The top list on each slide shows the names that appear on the left side of the label, and the bottom list shows the names that appear on the right.

Our preorder window opens Wednesday, July 29 at 9:00 AM PT and closes Tuesday, August 4 at 9:00 PM PT.
