The older I get, the more I am learning that everything does not require me to push through. Sometimes, when life tells you it is time to pause, you have to listen. ❤️

With that being said, I am taking a much-needed break from Magnifiscent Candles & Co. to focus on my family and give my attention to what matters most right now. I am not putting a timeline on this break because I truly do not know how long I need, but I will give updates as needed.

To every person who has ordered, shared a post, told somebody about Magnifiscent, booked a class, supported an event, or simply encouraged me along the way, THANK YOU. Your support has allowed something that started as an idea to become something I genuinely love.

Magnifiscent is not going anywhere. In fact, I have already been working behind the scenes on NEW scents and NEW products, so when I come back, just know I am coming back with some things! 👀

Candle-making classes will still be available during my break and will be facilitated by my team. They are more than capable of giving you the fun, personal, and memorable Magnifiscent experience that I have worked so hard to create.

Right now, family needs me, and I am finally learning to give myself permission to pause without feeling guilty about it.

I love you all, and I appreciate the grace, patience, and understanding you are showing me during this season. ❤️

Now please… DO NOT go finding another favorite candle company while I am gone. 😂 I am taking a break, not breaking up with y’all!

Magnifiscent Candles & Co. is officially making its way to SOUTH DAKOTA! 🥹🕯️🤎

A HUGE thank you to Alyciea Spencer and Little Ones Trading Co. for trusting Magnifiscent Candles & Co. to fulfill a wholesale order for their business. Every wholesale opportunity means so much to me, but this one is extra special because of the person behind it.

Alyciea and I started off as virtual coworkers, never knowing that a job would lead to such an amazing friendship. Over the years, our friendship grew into something that feels more like family. Last year, my mom and I traveled all the way to South Dakota to celebrate Alyciea as she got married, and somewhere along the way I even earned the title of “Auntie” to her sweet baby boy. 🥹❤️

Now, I get to add another special moment to our story: seeing Magnifiscent Candles & Co. products in her business ALL THE WAY IN SOUTH DAKOTA! 🥳 From Mississippi to South Dakota, baby, we are growing! 🙌🏾

A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to host a very special candle-making class to celebrate Alexis’ 33rd birthday! 🥳🎂 And this was definitely more than just another candle class for me.

Alexis is so near and dear to my heart. I met her back in 2018 while I was still a student in high school. She was coming in as my new boss, replacing someone I had already grown to know and love, so in my mind I had already decided I probably was not going to like her. 😂 Little did I know, she would turn out to be one of the BEST people God could have placed in my life.

Since 2018, Alexis has been there through literally every chapter of my life. She has celebrated every milestone, encouraged me through every transition, given me sound advice when I needed it, and definitely gotten me together a time or two when I was slacking. 😂

Alexis has also been extremely instrumental in the growth of Magnifiscent Candles & Co. She was one of the people who taught me to KNOW MY WORTH when it comes to my work and to stop undervaluing what I bring to the table. There have been so many moments when I could call her, ask for advice, and know that she was going to tell me exactly what I needed to hear.

What means the most to me is that when we stopped working together, Alexis could have easily gone on with her life and never spoken to me again. Instead, all these years later, she still randomly calls and texts just to check on me. 🥹 That kind of genuine love and friendship is something I will never take for granted.

So being able to celebrate 33 years of Alexis with a Magnifiscent candle-making class meant more to me than just hosting another class. This one was personal. 🩷

Alexis, I pray that this next year of your life brings you EVERYTHING you deserve, everything you need, and even some things you have been quietly praying for. Thank you for loving me, supporting me, correcting me, encouraging me, and always reminding me of who I am and what I am capable of.

I love you so much! 💕 Magnifiscent, and definitely ME, would not be this far without you.

🎉 WE DID IT! 1,000 CANDLES SOLD! 🕯️✨
A couple of months ago, Magnifiscent Candles & Co. officially reached one of our BIGGEST goals for 2026, and we are just now taking the time to celebrate it! 🥹🤎
Our goal was to sell 1,000 candles in 2026, and within just 6 MONTHS, we reached it! 🎉🙌🏾
When this goal was written down, reaching 1,000 candles felt HUGE. Every single order, share, recommendation, repeat customer, wholesale order, and person who supported this business helped make it happen.
What started as simply making candles has grown into something so much bigger than I imagined. 🕯️✨
To every person who purchased a candle, told somebody about Magnifiscent, booked a candle class, supported an event, or simply shared a post, THANK YOU! 🤎

Intimate candle-making classes will always be some of my favorites. There is something so special about a small group coming together, slowing down, creating, laughing, and making memories.

This class was extra special because we celebrated Dr. Mauda Monger’s birthday!
Being able to do this with and for Dr. Monger meant more to me than she probably realizes. She has been instrumental in encouraging me to keep Magnifiscent Candles & Co. going, especially on some of the darkest days when closing the doors felt easier than continuing.

Sometimes a few encouraging words from the right person can remind you why you started in the first place. Dr. Monger has been one of those people for me, and getting to be a small part of celebrating her was truly an honor. 🤎
Happy Birthday, Dr. Monger! Thank you for your encouragement, your support, and for believing in Magnifiscent. I pray this next year of life brings you everything you have dreamed of, prayed for, and so much more. You deserve to be celebrated! 🥂
