Wow what a weekend! Thanks for visiting Jackson. You came to town and showed lots of love and support for our community! We had visitors from Texas, Mississippi, N. Louisiana, S. Louisiana and many locals. Cotton Fields had a great turn out for his 10 year anniversary! McKowen Mercantile will be open on the 28th! Many upcoming events are planned, stay tuned things will be posted from now throughout the holidays.

We are SO excited to be back again this year! ❤️ We truly cannot say THANK YOU enough to the folks who welcome us out year after year and allow us to be a part of such a special event!

One of the BEST parts of what we do is getting to meet so many amazing people, make new friends, see familiar faces, and introduce folks to the food we love to cook! 🐷🔥 There’s just something special about being out there, sharing good food and good times with such an incredible crowd!

While in our area be sure to tour this home. This one is my personal favorites 😍 So much to see and do in the Felicianas 📍

Situated within the expansive grounds of the Audubon State Historic Site in St. Francisville, Louisiana, the historic Oakley Plantation encompasses a beautifully preserved 100-acre tract. The property is world-renowned for its architectural centerpiece—a distinct, three-story raised timber mansion constructed around 1806 that showcases a beautiful blend of colonial plantation layouts and early Federal influences.

Celebrated as the very site where legendary naturalist John James Audubon resided in 1821 to paint many of his famous Birds of America illustrations, the state-protected landmark stands today as a vital window into early Louisiana history, nature, and art.

We are all celebrating Cotton Fields Coffee Shop's 10th anniversary ❤️ ☕️
Start your day with coffee at Fields, walk to the nearby shops! There will be food trucks and live music on the porch at Fields! Everything is within walking distance of each other. Then at 2 pm swing by the Galvez Rum Tasting Room to grab a Frozen Daiquiri. Bring your lawn chair there is plenty of room on the lawn at Cotton Fields. We are going to have a great time!

After being friends on IG for several years and hosting many live sales together, she in California and I here in Louisiana. We became fast friends over our love of vintage and antique things! This past weekend we met for the first time in person in Natches, Ms. She and her husband Mr Wonderful (because he is!) Paul, were the nicest most genuine people ever. Over the course of a few days we met up several times, they came to my shop and visited there. Then today we met in Baton Rouge and I showed them around to a few of my favorite thrift stores. Then we said our goodbyes as they will be headed back to their California home and maybe one day I will take them up on their invitation to visit them there! God puts people in our lives at just the right time! Thankful for my friends 🧡 new and old, close to home and far away.
Oh and she requested cypress knees to bring home so I had my nephew cut her some! Lol
