Mt. Jefferson was the third park of our trip. The walk to the top wasn't so bad when you can drive most of the way! The kids enjoyed being up in the clouds!

Grandfather Mt was the first State Park we visited. It turns out, the commercial location has a much bigger sign than the state park. We drove ALL THE WAY AROUND THE MOUNTAIN before we found the park office and the entrance to the park! It was a beautiful drive though! We eventually found it, and had a great time. Elijah earned his 20th Jr. Ranger expert badge!

We spent our weekend in Boone, NC. We stayed at a lovely Air BnB near the Samaritan's Purse Headquarters. We saw a lot of deer, including two mommas with twins! We also drove up on an one antlered buck in the driveway!

We were able to visit four NC State Parks, and had a great time enjoying the view, weather, and family time!

Another hint as to where we were this past weekend...any more guesses?
