Three and a half years ago, I stepped out on faith with a dream that was much bigger than I could fully understand at the time. What started as a love for candle making has become a journey of healing, growth, obedience, and discovering God’s purpose for my life.

This isn’t just the story of a business.

It’s the story of how God can take broken places, refine them, and create something beautiful.

Today, Calm & Cozy represents far more than luxury home fragrance and body care. It represents peace. Comfort. Hope. Healing. And a reminder that God is still writing our stories.

There was a time in my life when I prayed for God to change my circumstances.

Now, I thank Him for changing me.

Looking back, I realize the greatest shift wasn’t what happened around me… it was what happened within me. My perspective changed. My faith grew deeper. My peace became less dependent on what was happening and more rooted in who God is.

That’s the story behind The Shift.

It isn’t just a candle. It’s a reminder that sometimes God does His greatest work long before anyone else can see it. Every step, every lesson, every closed door, every unexpected turn has a purpose—even when we don’t understand it in the moment.

If you’re in a season that feels unfamiliar, don’t be so quick to wish it away. It may be the very place where God is preparing you for everything you’ve been praying for.

Some seasons will stretch you.

Some will humble you.

Some will require you to let go of what you’ve been holding onto.

And some will feel like the fire is hotter than you can handle.

But don’t run from the process.

I’ve learned that God doesn’t waste seasons. Every delay, every disappointment, every closed door, every unexpected turn, and every victory serves a purpose. Even when we don’t understand what He’s doing, He’s still working.

Sometimes He’s building our character before He releases the calling.
Sometimes He’s strengthening our faith before He opens the door.
Sometimes He’s teaching us to trust Him when the only thing we have is His promise.

The process isn’t punishment.
It’s preparation.

That’s the heart behind The Process from our Novea Collection.

As I light this Petite Luxury Candle today, I’m reminded that what God is building in us is just as important as what He’s building for us. The refining may not always feel good, but when we surrender to His process, we come out stronger, wiser, and more equipped for the purpose He’s called us to.
