I’ve become fascinated with air plants recently. I never realized there were so many versions. The best part for me is how easy they are to care for. I find wood then Cecilia figures out which air plants to use. Pretty simple😀.

This piece has all of the right stuff for Cecilia’s very large orchid project. It’s 9’ tall and will host many plants once completely dry and cleaned up a bit. First I will search for a nice flat stone base heavy enough to support it.

Great couple hours for old bottles, old wood, and an old swamp rat. I pushed the limits of my Perception Hi-Life Hybrid today with a gorgeous piece of cypress. The bonus was a couple of bottles from the 1800’s. One from Jacksonville FL. So many bait fish in the shallows. It was fun watching the redfish chase them.

The DeAndrade’s got this piece from us at the last Riverside Arts Market and said it reminded them of an old torch. It ended up on their Lanai in a pretty good spot. I made a citronella torch a while back and gave it away. Gonna try another one.

Chris was an apartment dweller in New York. Moved to Florida and is fascinated with even the tall pines, palmetto, and bushes that we natives take for granted and consider a nuisance. 😀 As fast as the developers are knocking down our forests for new homes, I’m going to take a lesson from Chris and appreciate what we have. He also likes the driftwood he got from us.
