I made-up several more of these darling string-of-hearts terrariums😍

I tried to make my own organic looking mushrooms with air dry clay to top one of my latest terrariums- it turned out good, but not sure it'd be worth my time in the long run- I'll continue to use the storebought mushrooms(as seen on all the other pictured terrariums- I didn't make those😅) and I'll be thinking of other ways I can make my own✨

This little teapot has become one of my favorite planters, yet✨

I got the teapot about the same time as the pitcher plant and I thought they’d pair perfectly together.

Yes, I hope the plant gets bushy and spills over the top more- but for now I’ll wait and hope that the teapot helps keep its perfect moisture balance, while the spout allows for some airflow.
The lid had a hole in it, I added another so I could put it to use, and the spout holds that air-plant perfectly 🤩

When I'm not creating treasures, I'm taking care of my large indoor houseplant collection 🌞✨

I've been building my collection over the past 7 years- I have 5 main plant spaces in my home, and each space has approx. 30-40 plants.

This time of year, I can hardly wait to get some things outside for curb appeal- but I've learned to wait until after Mother's day- so for now, I'm taking notes and action on my indoor collection- what needs repotted or pruned and propagated, that way I'll have time to spend with my outdoor plants too 😃 If you're interested in seeing more of my plants check out my YouTube channel: A Sunny State of Mind


Back to curb appeal, the first houseplants I put out for the growing season are Bird of Paradise, Ficus and Hoyas and the first plants I buy for porch pots and window boxes are ferns, creeping Jenny and begonias( the front of my house/curb appeal is NE facing and tree covered, so I have to pick varieties that can live in shade😔)
Only one more week to wait, I better get busy 😅

p.s. the thumbnail pic was one of my favorite set-ups that has changed over time as the plants grow up and out of the space- the whole clip is just a glimpse and a blend of old and new set-ups- it's my living decor 😃

**Also, I see the reel did not translate ideally and only the end can be seen as I had intended- I’m not sure what did or didn’t happen, but I will be looking into fixing that for the future 😆

I've been working on a couple variations of the eyeglass chains when an unexpected incident presented me with new materials to work with 👀

I was gifted an amethyst bracelet by a very special friend and less than 24 hours later I (my dog😭) managed to break it in a funny, not so funny way... I've heard something along the lines, when a bracelet breaks it has served its purpose- So, I made a couple special eyeglass chains with it, one for me and one for my friend☺️

Everlasting bottled bouquets 🌿✨

These beauties came about during a special time and in a most wondrous way✨

Last May we stayed at a cabin in the ozarks in celebration of 20 years together with my husband-inspired by the beautiful green glass bottles and the abundance of beauty in the nature around me, I started gathering bouquets and basically haven’t stopped since 😀

I love that each season brings new life and capturing and preserving it in this way has become one of my favorite pastimes 🌿✨

Oyster/shell art🦪✨

They say the world is your oyster… I know they’ve sure become a part of my little creative world.

Of course I’m drawn to their natural beauty and I enjoy bringing them new life and purpose-I’ve made several oyster chimes, ornaments and crosses with them so far.

Maybe it’s the Pisces in me, but I’ve always been drawn to the coastal vibe- Get me on a beach and I will hunt for seashells from dusk to dawn.😅

… Charm chains continued🪶✨

In addition to my charm chain eyeglass holders/necklace(shown in pic around cup), I’ve made some charming keychains.

These charm chains hold symbols and meaning- a talisman of sorts for me AND they’re functional 😃

I’m not kidding you, every time I’m out with mine (and without my readers hanging from my charmed chain), I reach for that magnifying glass to help me see- lol it’s great, from looking at tags while shopping to items on a menu😅 I’m always glad to have it nearby (hopefully I’ll never REALLY need the whistle😳)

I’ve made it to the age of needing assistance seeing and I’m often wearing reading glasses- so I’ve made some charm chain eyeglass holders for function and flair… and would you believe that they can also be worn as a necklace!?😃

Wearable Whimsy✨

I’ve always loved wearing unique earrings-I can hardly even remember as far back to when I got into making them, but I still have the pair that inspired me.I’ve made quite a few over the past year and I can’t wait to share them all 😃

There’s something about earrings that makes an ordinary day feel intentional.
My outfit might be simple… but my earrings never are ✨
