It is with a very heavy heart that I announce that The Last Homely House is closing down at the end of November. I have completely enjoyed every second of this chapter and am sad that it is ending. DIY Tip of the Week: Don’t be afraid of the worn out piece! I found this changing table on Facebook for pretty cheap and it needed a LOT of TLC. But I was on the hunt for a piece that I could customize for the nursery. Using and moulds, I was able to clean the table up and make it just right for the space and decor. I spent much less doing it this way than I would have had I purchased something generic that everyone and their mother also has. If you’re not into DIY or don’t have the time and are local, message me! I’d be happy to help you bring something back to life to fit your taste and be a great statement piece!

🎉HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE LAST HOMELY HOUSE!🎉 The Last Homely House is ONE today!!! I can’t believe it’s been a year already but I have totally enjoyed all of it. Started out with an itty bitty booth, moved to a MUCH bigger one, opened (and then sadly had to close a few months later but met some truly incredible people in the process) a second booth and then moved with the original antique store to a new town. Oh, and had a baby during all of that! I’m so grateful for my awesome family (especially my hubby) for all their help and support, to all of the other Booth and store owners that are constantly giving amazing advice and tips and being friends, and to all of the incredible customers who have kept us going through the year! I am on cloud nine and love you all and am excited to see what the next year has in store for The Last Homely House!

Easy decorating tip of the week: use frames to fill up wall space and add trimmings to suit your pallet and theme. I got both of these frames on sale at an antique store. Some hot glue, flowers I had in my craft closet and a handmade cross made them perfect wall decor for our floral boho themed nursery. Easy and quick!

Happy Fall, Y’all!!! It’s so gorgeous outside right now! I’ve been a little MIA the last couple weeks but I was working on a special project, which you can see when you scroll through the pictures. 🥰 I was so happy to be back in the booth today though and I wanted to say THANK YOU to Old Town Junction for keeping my booth looking pretty while I was gone. I seriously appreciate you all! Great pieces available though and hopefully new items to come next month. Thank you for being patient with me and sticking around!

We’re still here! It’s been a busy, HOT month but I’m so thankful for all of you amazing humans that have made this first month in the new location so awesome. Got some fall pieces in here today (because August is OVER!!!! Woo Hoo!) along with an adorable bench and some patriotic door decor since now is a great time to show America some love! Have a wonderful weekend!

Update Number 2: Open today starting at 10 is the booth at Old Town Junction in Winder! Y’all, i don’t even wear socks anymore because you keep blowing them off. Record sales in this space since it reopened and I appreciate you more than you know.
I can’t get enough of this space. I could just live in here. I’m so totally obsessed with the long coffee table and the cabinet with those beautiful green doors. Both painted with purchased from my local dealer . Super easy to use and the colors and textures are always flawless. Stop by the booth today and grab something pretty to make your home even happier!
