🧡 MEET THE TEAM SUNDAY: LEXI 🧡
Strength • Heart • A Life Fully Lived
This week’s Meet the Team feature is especially personal because I’m introducing you to my daughter, Lexi—the only girl among my five Beauties and the heart of our family in so many ways.
From the time she was little, Lexi has loved deeply. She has always had a tender heart for people and animals, and the two pictures with her beloved Coal tell that story beautifully. One captures the beginning—the two of them as a little girl and her puppy. The other was taken on the day we said goodbye to him at home. After a lifetime of love, Lexi stayed close and comforted Coal until the very end. That is simply who she is: loyal, compassionate and present when someone she loves needs her most. 🖤🐾
Five years ago, Lexi’s life changed in an instant. A devastating accident changed her body and the future she had imagined. She was faced with pain, loss and the challenge of learning how to navigate everyday life in an entirely new way.
But the accident did not take away her spirit.
Lexi continued forward. She returned to college, joined a sorority, created new friendships, traveled, laughed, loved and built a life beyond what happened to her. In 2025, she graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Arts Psychology and an Associate degree in Criminal Justice—an accomplishment that represents far more than a diploma. It represents courage, determination and countless moments when giving up would have been easier.
Today, she uses that compassionate heart while working with children and adolescents. She has a special ability to connect with young people, help them feel seen and remain calm during their hardest moments. Her interests in child advocacy, victim services and trauma-informed care are not simply career choices—they reflect the person she has always been.
And when lives were in danger, that instinct to help others took over. Alongside her brother Evan, Lexi helped rescue four people from a burning truck and release three horses from a burning trailer. Courage isn’t something Lexi talks about—it is something she lives.
At 5 Beauties, Lexi is our product tester, idea starter and the inspiration behind many of the special finds you see—especially within All Things Zen. She brings heart, honesty and a fresh perspective to everything we do.
✨ A LITTLE LEXI TRIVIA ✨
🥩 Her favorite meal is steak and clams.
👕 Lexi has a serious passion for collecting T-shirts—and owns hundreds of them!
🌊 Her favorite place is the Outer Banks.
🎶 Her playlist is filled with all things country.
🎓 Most people don’t know that Lexi competed in the Pennsylvania State Police Camp Cadet program and advanced to Honor Camp at the PSP Academy!
🎣 And if you ever go fishing with Lexi, prepare to be humbled—she can outfish every one of us!
👯♀️ She is Edward’s twin—and proudly holds the title of older sibling by one minute!
Lexi’s story is not defined by her accident. It is defined by everything she chose afterward: to keep going, to keep loving, to keep helping and to keep living fully.
As her mother, I will never stop being amazed by her strength—but I am even more proud of her heart.
