For the past six months I've been fulfilling a dream. Wildstork Publishing, author Neil Rosen aka Professor Stork, myself and artists from around the world, have joined together to do one thing -remind you to reconnect with nature! We are creating unique ebooks and collectable nature guides about national parks, unique destinations, hiking trails, insects, nature close to home and so much more.

I got the opportunity to artistically bring the New River Gorge to life in my own artistic style. And this former WV girl tried hard to represent!

Born and raised a West Virginia girl, coal mining runs in the blood. So does RESPECT, ADMIRATION and APPRECIATION. I now live in SWVA and that same coal community is just as strong. This is a mixed media piece painted from my father-in-laws old mining hat with the carbide lamp has received several requests for prints.

I have struggled to find a place that prints my art prints for a reasonable price and minimal quantity. I'm not at the place where I can buy larger batches yet. I usually prefer to shop local but I can hardly get a return call/email, if at all. It's not a wonder that people are turning to the internet to get stuff done. As much as I hate to join the ranks of using internet businesses, I have stuff that needs printed yesterday! I found https://www.catprint.com/home and I love them.
