Sundays have become my day for relearning my love of cooking.
I walked away from trying new recipes for a couple of years but I am working at pushing down the anxiety (which seems silly but real) of trying and failing. And just like that my love for cooking is slowly returning.

Sometimes I struggle with purpose. Who am I sitting in my house stamping names onto repurposed books? What purpose lies in that?
I am not out changing the world. I am not out healing the sick, housing the homeless or feeding the hungry. Why does it even matter?
Then I remember that each letter becomes a name. Each name represents someone’s “person”. Their son, daughter, mother, husband, or pet. It’s their story I am telling. Their piece of joy and purpose that is packed into a little visual reminder each time they pass it on a shelf.
Your story matters and man today that feels like purpose. Thank you for choosing us. ❤️
