Hello, my name is Jacob Banks. My wife and I are the designers and woodworkers behind 1531 Designs. This will be half of the agreed upon amount.

These products are made using inspiration from the Farmhouse Style. This began as a small side hobby and is growing into something much more. Building furniture and home decor pieces is something that I take great pride in and fully enjoy. Each piece of furniture and decor is made to the best of my ability, built out of solid wood, and sealed for durability and usability. We cannot guarantee that these pieces will never dent or chip as they are not indestructible. The finished product will not be without small imperfections as each piece of wood is different and stains and finishes differently. We believe that this adds to the uniqueness and beauty of each piece. We will not be responsible for anything that happens to the furniture once it is put into your home

All furniture and decor orders require a non-refundable deposit in order to cover all supplies and materials. The deposit goes toward the amount agreed upon and we will begin your order once the deposit is received. Lead times will vary depending on the complexity of the order as well as finishing requirements. my normal lead times are 4-6 weeks for most large projects, and smaller projects have a 2-4 week lead time requirement. We reserve the right to limit the number of orders we will take at any given time due to our own schedules and time constraints. REFUND POLICY

If you are unhappy with your purchase, or it does not meet your expectations, we will be happy to provide a full refund as long as the furniture is returned in its original condition.

I had the privilege of helping a client put to use an old TV space in their fireplace. Retro fitted it with a bookshelf that they can now use to display some of their extensive book collections. So thankful for this opportunity.

This has been a couple months in the making, but I finally finished my daughter's bunk bed that she asked for her birthday. Her smiles and excitement have been the best payment ever.

I once again have been blessed with the opportunity to provide an item to the OFC Ambassadors of Hope Dinner and Auction.

This is a 40" wide X 84" long, farmhouse style dining table with 2 benches. This item will be part of the evenings live auction event.

My prayer is that the Lord will use all the money raised on Saturday evening to help show the love and share the gospel of Jesus Christ to these abused and neglected children.

Dog kennel cabinet update. Cabinet has been stained with the 1st 2 coats of sealer applied. The stain has added some pop to the distressed painted boards. Stay tuned for completion photos next week!

I had a small opportunity to build a little something for my favorite customer...my wife. We are slowly transforming our front room into our office and fresh paint and floating shelves are officially completed.

Top and bottom shelves are 11' long X 1' deep. The middle shelves are 4' long each.

Still to come over the next 6 month will be lower cabinets under the shelves and a desk in the center of the room. Stay tuned for future updates.
