This weeks menu!
Saturday- jalapeño popper chicken with rice
{2 chicken breast, 2-3 jalapeños (depending on spice preference), 6-8 pieces of bacon, 1 block of cream cheese, however much shredded cheese your heart desires, whichever rice you prefer}
Sunday- dinner at a friends house
Monday- egg roll in a bowl over rice
{1lb ground chicken, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, onion, ginger, garlic, tri-color coleslaw mix, green onion, wonton strips, whichever rice you prefer}
Tuesday- beef chili with grilled cheese
{1lb ground beef, red chili beans, tomato sauce, fire roasted tomatoes with green chilis, onion, tomato sauce, bread, sliced cheese, crackers}
Wednesday- New York strips with mashed potatoes & roasted broccoli
{NY strip, russet potatoes, heavy cream, butter, frozen broccoli}
Thursday- Cajun sausage pasta
{andouille sausage, red bell pepper, heavy cream, Cajun seasoning, fettuccine pasta, Parmesan cheese, tomato paste}
Friday- “girl dinner” 🤣🤭 meaning my husband works 7am-7pm, I work 7pm-7am… he’ll probably eat leftovers & I’ll bring stuff to snack on while at work.
We have most of the ingredients at home already (sauces, butter, cheese, seasonings) & we buy our meat in bulk at Costco to help save costs.
Grocery breakdown shopping at Walmart:
32oz heavy cream- $5.28

I usually do a Walmart grocery delivery or pick up, not just for convenience but it takes away the “death stroll” through the store. This helps save money, time & mostly your sanity 🤣
