I stopped at a floral shop and did demo foaming an UrnTray using a wire to cut foam because they didn’t have a long knife. Super easy and no tape or glue needed.

While on the road this time in Ohio, we stopped at a shop where a young florist did not have long knife. So I showed her a trick of using a wire instead to cut foam to put in an S12 small tray. Easy to do.

Flashback to 2023, when Florist used our trays for 40 arrangements they used for a Boys and Girls Club fundraiser at .

They used the tray's platform to place a large cube, illuminated from the inside with color-changing LED lights. They filled the entire reservoir with blooms, easily covering all the mechanics while keeping the cube dry.

One of their designers, Wendy, said, "It was easy to prepare for that number of arrangements and keep the battery-operated cube away from the water....We like to give credit to our team of creative minds; when we started brainstorming on how to feature the provided cubes with floral surrounding them, the urn tray just made sense."

What neat things have you done with our trays?

As you ramp up for wedding season, we wanted to share a few weddings and events our trays have been part of over the past few years.

We love how they have been used in all sorts of ways!

Here are a few ideas: Turn them upside down in a geometric floral stand, use them in your centerpieces, the stand for a wedding cake, or on the buffet table, as the base for whiskey barrel pieces, put a small one on a hurricane vase and then a large one underneath for a double-decker design, etc... The options are endless!

Have you met Rebecca? She's the founder and inventor of UrnTray!

She's the heart behind UrnTray, and isn’t just our founder and inventor, she’s a lifelong florist who truly understands the everyday challenges designers face. With years of experience working in floral shops across multiple states and creating large-scale event designs, she saw firsthand the need for a better way to design around urns and centerpieces. That spark led to the creation of UrnTray, a solution built by a florist, for florists.

What makes Rebecca so special (besides her incredible creativity) is her passion for connection and education. She loves creating tutorials and sharing tips to help florists feel confident using UrnTray in their own work. Teaching others how to bring their designs to life is one of her favorite parts of what she does.

She’s also spent countless hours on the road, traveling all over the country to meet florists, introduce her trays, and learn directly from the community she loves. From small flower shops to industry events, she’s always eager to connect, teach, and be inspired.

When she’s not designing or innovating, you’ll likely find her planning her next trip, filming tutorials for her YouTube channel, visiting new shops, and coming home energized by the amazing people she’s met along the way.

Rebecca built UrnTray with one goal in mind: to make floral design easier, more efficient, and more meaningful... and she’s just getting started 💐
