I’ve fiddled around with making book holders for months. The vision I had in my mind seemed so simple.

Come to find out visions don’t always translate seamlessly to a legitimate product. About three cardboard, 2 MDF and one scrap wood prototypes later I have our final product.

I learned a lot about design and the program I use and am really happy with the end product.

Piggy Banks are the topic of discussion, specifically the process of retrieving money.

The majority of designs I've reviewed have a larger opening at the top, but no corresponding opening at the bottom. A few designs incorporate a bottom opening, but I'm worried about potential problems with the slide.

Should I create a design that offers bottom or back access to savings, or should I stick with the conventional top-access approach?
