🌻 FROM THIS… TO THIS. 🌻

If you had told me when I first set up my little booth that it would become what it is today, I probably wouldn’t have believed you. The first photo was the beginning. Empty shelves. A blank space. Visions. Dreams. Lots of long days, searching, creating, decorating, rearranging, second-guessing, and praying. I poured my heart into a space that felt warm, welcoming, unique, and full of beauty. Then came the unexpected. Like so many vendors, I rode the roller coaster of emotions when Painted Tree suddenly closed. There was uncertainty, disappointment, frustration, sadness, and honestly… a lot of doubt and questions. After investing so much time, money, energy, creativity, and love into building my little corner of the world, it felt like the rug had been pulled out from under us. But God. ALWAYS GOD. When one door closed, He opened another. What felt like an ending became the beginning of something new 💖

Now here we are… The Blooming Nest at the NRH Hive Collective 🐝✨

Not just reopening… but reimagining. I had a whole NEW vision in mind.

A fresh start.
A new chapter.
New opportunities.
New ideas.
New creativity.
New life breathed into a dream.

Looking back at these photos is emotional. The transformation isn’t just in the booth itself—it’s a reminder of resilience, faith, perseverance, and God’s faithfulness through every twist and turn. The booth has evolved from empty shelves to a space overflowing with color, texture, charm, florals, home décor, gifts, and all the little details that make my heart so happy. What once felt like a setback became a setup for something even BETTER 💖

Thank you to every person who has supported The Blooming Nest, shopped small, shared posts, encouraged me, and believed in this dream of mine. Your support means more than you’ll ever know. Here’s to new beginnings, fresh starts, and trusting God even when we can’t see the whole picture. Because sometimes the most beautiful blooms come after the hardest seasons. 🌻 God is good. ALL the time. God is faithful. ALL the time.

As many of you have been following along, you know that Painted Tree officially filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy and are closed permanently nationwide. This has been incredibly hard on so many small business owners (myself included), and there’s a lot of loss wrapped up in this moment. BUT… there is HOPE 🤍

I’m so excited to share that the building I am in isn’t going anywhere! The owners of this building have decided to rename, redo, and revamp this marketplace for vendors like me! It will now be called, NRH, The Hive Collective, and will be opening in its place—giving vendors like me the opportunity to stay and keep going! Praise God!

✨ The Blooming Nest and Rooted in Truth Curations are here to stay!

I will be REMAINING in the same location at booth G11 & exciting announcement, we will also be in booth G12!

Hi friends 🤍

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, especially with so many new faces here lately—and to say a heartfelt thank you for being here and supporting me during such an unexpected time.

My name is Lauren, and I’m the heart behind The Blooming Nest and Rooted in Curations. I have a passion for creating beautiful spaces through curated home décor, unique finds, and pieces that bring warmth and purpose into your home.

I also LOVE making high quality faux arrangements. So real, you will think you need to water them 🥰Rooted in Truth Curations is all about thoughtfully curated pieces that bring beauty, meaning, and truth into your home—items that feel intentional, grounding, and full of purpose.

As many of you may know, the sudden closure of Painted Tree has deeply impacted so many small business owners, myself included. It’s been a really difficult and emotional time, but your support, kind messages, and continued encouragement have meant more to me than I can even put into words. Truly—thank you for supporting my small businesses.

In addition to my décor businesses, I also own Healthier Homes Housecleaning, where I help families create clean, peaceful spaces using only the best all-natural cleaning products. Creating homes that feel good—both in how they look and how they’re cared for—is something I genuinely love.

Above all, I’m a mom to two amazing girls, and my faith in the Lord is the foundation of everything I do. He’s been my strength through this season, and I trust that something good will come from even the hardest moments.

I got a call today from one of my clients (who also works at our church), interested in my Rooted in Truth Curations. Our church got a new seating / coffee area that just got remodeled and they wanted to spruce it up with some pretty decor for the tables. She immediately thought of me and gave me a call to see if I could come up with something ❤️ Oh yes, yes I can 😍 I cannot wait to take pictures once I have them set up and displayed! I have a few more ideas floating around in my head, but I am so honored to have been thought of, and entrusted with this task. It is truly a blessing!
