These aren’t just candles—they’re stone sculptures with a soul.

Every rock candle I make starts with a hand-picked stone. I search for pieces with rich color, natural layering, and character—sometimes splitting larger ones to reveal unique inner veins. I handle the entire process myself—from selecting and shaping the stone, to drilling the wick holes in just the right spots to highlight its natural beauty, to packing them up and hauling them to shows.

No two are ever the same. They’re functional art—flame meets geology.

These rock candles can be used indoors or outdoors. When you’re outside, just fill them with citronella oil to help keep the bugs away. Most people have never seen anything like them before, so they also make fantastic conversation pieces.

I also craft stone lamps using smooth, stacked Lake Michigan beach stones—each one a tribute to the shoreline that shaped it.

These are the heart of RSI Designs. They’re my bread and butter—and they light up more than just a room.
