Pinch me 🤏🏼

Today I met the buyer for one of the largest surf shop chains in Florida. 🤯🌴

Here’s how it happened…

We got to Surf Expo and Tyler was hungry. He asked if I wanted to eat before we started walking around, but I wasn’t hungry yet, so I said, “Let’s just wait until we’re halfway through.”

I came here today with TWO people I really wanted to meet — the buyers for Surf Style and ronjons.

I had no appointments. No scheduled meetings. Nothing.

I literally just prayed that somehow, at some point today, one of them would cross my path.

And one of them DID. 👀

I can’t share WHO just yet…but I seriously cannot wait to tell you what happened next. 🌴🩷

Sometimes you just have to show up, walk into the room and trust that you’re supposed to be there.

Let’s be real — I’m a small brand. 💗

I don’t have the budget (or honestly, the time 😅) right now to build out a big, beautiful booth here at Surf Expo.

But you know what I DO have? A brand I believe in, products I’m proud of, and absolutely zero fear of putting myself out there.

So I’m here. Walking the floor. Making connections. Introducing myself. And getting Key West Candle & Bath Company into a room FULL of potential buyers. 🌴✨

Sometimes growing a business isn’t about waiting until you can do it perfectly.

Sometimes it’s just about getting yourself in the room.

No booth this year… but who knows what next year looks like. 😉🌺

The Sahara dust is finally lifting and WOW… there’s that Key West blue again. 💙🌴☀️

Crystal blue skies, bright sunshine, that tropical color we’ve been missing.

It’s beautiful… but every local knows what those clear September skies also mean. 👀🌀

Peak hurricane season is here.

So for now, we’re soaking up the blue skies, pouring candles, and keeping one eye on the tropics. 😂

Chasing my dreams, just with my babies in tow. 💕

Building a business between naps, school schedules, snack breaks and little hands wanting to “help.”

They’re not watching me build this dream from the sidelines—they’re growing up right in the middle of it.

And that might just be my favorite part. 🥹

Sometimes I look around and think… how did we get here? 🥹

What started with a 4-foot table in my kitchen has turned into a business that now has us preparing to pour more than 1,300 candles in ONE month for the holiday season. 🎄🕯️

There were so many days I was pouring candles, answering emails, packing orders, raising babies and just hoping all of this would eventually turn into something.

And somewhere along the way… it did.

Not overnight. Not because of one viral post. Just a whole lot of showing up, figuring it out as I went, and being slightly delusional enough to believe I could build something bigger. 😂💗

Now here we are, heading into our biggest season yet.

So if you need us, we’ll be down here at the Southernmost Pole, pouring candles like our lives depend on it. 🎅🏼🌴

1,300 candles. One month.

Let’s freaking go.
