Decorating for the holidays doesn’t have to take too much time or stress. This leaves room for fun traditions like Easter egg dying...my teens still love this! 🥚 Got this Easter vignette up in a few minutes using a combo of what I already had that felt like spring, these 2 new little brass bunnies from the Target dollar section, and this Easter sign I whipped up that never sold🤣. I put all of our colored eggs in a ceramic bowl and called it done.

I'm not sure how to feel - This is the the first time in 9 years that my kids did not bring Valentines cards into school🥺 Its really hard in general when your kids get older, but having holiday traditions changing is definitely a tear jerker😢 And then I'm trying to look on the bright side...it was kinda nice to not have.to worry about it this week.🤪 Moms of older kids....any advice for navigating these teen years?
I think I knew in my heart years ago that I was going to be really devastated when eventually my little sidekicks started to grow up. After 10 years as a stay-at-home mom, I think I knew subconsciously that I would need something to distract me from the sadness of them getting older and so I started this business.❤️ Thank you for being what keeps me from staying curled up in a ball on the floor sobbing while they are off at school 🤣😉 Moms of littles now....its true what everyone says...it goes so fast!!
A tradition we have kept alive despite their age is that I hand-make both of my kids a Valentine card....this is inspired by the red construction paper heart and doily valentines that my grandma always used to make my siblings and I when we were kids.🥰 And it also inspired this custom Valentine's Day sign a few years ago. Hope you and your family have a great Valentine's Day no matter how old everyone is!!! 💖

Neutral Nautical. Its totally a decor style! 🤍🤎🖤 The perfect calming vibes for the cold and dark of winter when you are missing your beach days 🥺 but aren't ready yet for all the bright colors. Did you know our East Coast sign comes in gray and black too? Highly recommend a walk on the beach even when its cold out to boost your spirits and have that moment you need to reset. Just bundle up. The colors of the beach are so lovely and muted in winter!! I promise, you will feel better afterwards😃

TGIF!! Surprise...we are popping up tomorrow, Friday October 7th, in person at the Sandwichfest Street Fair in lovely downtown Sandwich on Cape Cod!! 🥳🌊🥪 Historic Water Street will be shut down to host food trucks, tons of local vendors, even a beer and wine garden. Here's the flyer from the Sandwich Chamber of Commerce!

We will have a booth on the lawn of 4 Water Street, the beautiful Deacon Eldred House that Jen and Mike from Full Circle Homes & Farm renovated this past year on Season 2 of their HGTV show "Houses With History"!!! This property is so special. You can tour the house from 12pm to 3pm to see all the amazing work they did on it (and a couple of my signs that were featured in the episode's reveal) or shop the entire street fair, our booth, and also the Mayflower Mercantile booth from 10am to 4pm. Bringing all the fall and holiday inventory!!! Have a great long weekend!

Are you getting ready for Valentine's Day? South Shore friends, if you need chocolates, candy, or baked goods for any of your loved ones or really just yourself🤣👏, you need to check out Mrs. Mekler's Mercantile in Cohasset!! It is the cutest little wooden shack in the woods in which Mrs. Mekler stocks all her yummy goodies for you to stop by and grab..payment is with Venmo on the honors system. You will not get lost because we just worked together to make the funniest signs for the charming drive up to the shack! Favor...get me some dark chocolate covered pretzels or dark chocolate sea salt caramels if you go!!!😉

Isn't achieving the perfect mix of getting out your beloved holiday keepsakes and finding new spins on how to use them the most fun challenge when decorating for Christmas?! This printable of "Oh Holy Night" makes me cry every year and is a great backdrop....I was so excited to get out this giant brass deer again that I scored last year from Laurel Grove ...I missed you, little buddy!!! I love fresh greens to brighten up all the warm and neutral tones of holiday stuff (and cutting them is super easy when you live on the edge of the woods)...and quick tip...if you want your pine cones to stand out a bit, try dry brushing the edges with white paint...it looks like snow and they they pop a bit more!
