Happy 1st Day of September.....which is also my little granddaughter's 9th birthday.
This year I decided to use my Ms Susie September Buttersworth as my decor. I normally use another Ms Buttersworth that features apples. But I decided I loved the bright and cheery colors of the Sunflowers. I made myself a new table runner, placemats and cloth napkins to put in the denim pockets. I also embroidered a sunflower design on them. I made a new, well... recycled wreath for my front door. I already had the cut-outs that I made and painted years ago, I just attached them to a straw pre-made wreath form and added a pretty ribbon. And thanks to Hobby Lobby they had the pretty sunflower "Welcome" mat, perfect for my theme. I made two new pillows for my porch bench and added a sunflower garland. And talking about recycling.....the fabric for backs of the placemats, the table runner, cloth napkins and the pillows were all made from a curtain that my daughter no longer wanted, lol they are mine now!

Introducing "BUNNIES"!
I am so excited to offer "Bunnies" as a memory keepsake. They can be made from the same keepsake items that any of my bears have been made from. I am offering them in the same 3 sizes as the bears, Small 18 inches, Medium 21 inches and Large 24 inches. The tummy patches can be added at an additional charge.
These adorable Bunnies were made from Kim's Great-Granddaughters hospital blankets they were wrapped in when they were born. Each bunny has a custom embroidered bunny tummy patch with their birth info on them. They couldn't be any cuter with their hand sewn pink noses, their long bunny ears and of course their white bunny tails!

This adorable little bear will be headed to Clarkston Michigan today; she will arrive just in time for Maureen's granddaughters first birthday in September. Made from an uncle's shirt that her granddaughter never got to meet. Since the shirts were her uncles, the request was to make this bear girly. I think she looks girly with her bow and collar made from the navy t-shirt. I love the yellow bottom of the one shirt; it made the bear have a soft color for her head and legs. And the other shirt was used as the body and arms, so all three shirts were used to create this precious bear. I added a big button that I had laying around, it just seemed to perfect for the collar and colors of the overall bear. Have a BEARY Happy Birthday little one!

We have the coolest bank … Branson Bank. They bake fresh cookies every morning for their customers! Desi is one of their bakers and it’s coming up on her one year employment. So in appreciation of her they had me custom embroider an apron for her. I think Desi will be the coolest baker there! Thank you Branson Bank and Jamie Hunt!

The “Taylor Swifty” bear is well on her way to her home in Kennett Missouri. But before she left I took the photos that I had meant to take when I first posted her pics before my vacation. She wouldn’t be complete without some sparkle and glittery fashion! Her whole bottom is silver sequins! Shine and lashes all she really needs is bright red lips!

I’m back! My visit with my son in Michigan was wonderful as always! Not only did I get to visit with him I also got to visit with Kim O from Waterford. She is having me make two keepsakes from her two Great-Granddaughters hospital blankets. I know you all are thinking Memory Bears…… but you are in for a little surprise! See ya’ll in few days!

August has arrived! Time to show ya’ll my August decor. I decorated right before I left for Michigan….which is where I’m at now. When I think of August besides it being HOT and HUMID I think of the summer winding down and school supply list and supplies being put out in the isles of Walmart! With that in mind as you can see it’s “Back To School” time theme. My Ms Angie August Buttersworth I hand painted in 2015. I made a couple new porch pillows, the garland I had made years and years ago but I refurbished it with a new ribbon. I made a new front door wreath… who says a wreath has to be round, lol! I made a new floral arrangement including the vase. The two books next to it are antique school books that I’ve had. My wheels are turning as to what I’ll do for September, I’ll start on it when I get back home!
