Finally getting around to saying what’s been going on over here. 🤎

I’ve been a little quiet this summer. I’m not really sure how else to explain it other than… life has just felt heavy lately.

Maybe it’s because I have a kiddo going into high school and another starting kindergarten. Maybe it’s because we’ve been trying to buy a house and went back and forth on SO many things. Maybe it’s because the last place we were in was a rental that, while I’m incredibly thankful for it and it fit us when we needed it, was dark and gloomy and just never really felt like us.

And honestly, I think I’ve just been missing family and friends from back home. Being away from the people you love is hard. Sometimes you don’t realize how much you’re carrying until you finally slow down enough to feel it.

Don’t get me wrong — there have been SO many beautiful things, too. Watching my kids grow. New opportunities. Watching my husband thrive at his job. Meeting some of the most amazing people. Growing personally in ways I didn’t expect.

But even with all of the good, this last chapter has just felt… heavy.

So, with all of that being said… we moved. 🏡🤎

I am officially no longer in Klamath Falls, which means I will no longer be offering porch pickup in Klamath Falls.

BUT — I’ll be offering porch pickup here in Merrill starting soon! And I’m also considering doing a once-a-week delivery/pickup location in Klamath Falls so I can still make it easy for all of my Klamath people to get their fix.

I’ll still be doing events and pop-ups, too. I’m just trying to figure out what makes the most sense for this next chapter. Maybe weekly preorders? Maybe a set pickup day? I’m not totally sure yet.

So if you have ideas, PLEASE tell me. I want to hear what would actually be easiest and most helpful for you guys. 🥹

For now, I’m going to take this next week to get my babies off to school, try to hold back the tears (which… I absolutely will not ), settle into our new home, and just love them really, really hard.

Because life goes way too fast.

I’m so incredibly thankful for every single person who has supported The Cozy Crumb — whether you’ve bought a cookie, shared a post, told a friend, came to an event, or just followed along.

I’m excited to be in a place that finally feels like HOME.
I’m excited to get back into a routine.
I’m excited to figure out what The Cozy Crumb looks like in this next chapter.

And I’m REALLY excited to start creating some cozy fall flavors. 🍎🍂🤎

Life has been a whirlwind lately, and sometimes I forget to sit back and realize how blessed I really am.

I’ve been a little quiet on here the last few weeks. I’ve had some personal stuff going on, was lucky enough to be a part of two really incredible fundraisers, MOVED (more to come on that soon…still in Klamath county), and have just been trying to keep up with everything life has thrown at me lately.

But I really wanted to share this tonight.

Tonight was the Make-A-Wish fundraiser and it was absolutely incredible.

With the help of SO many people, including so many of you who donated things when I asked, we were able to raise over $200,000 for Make-A-Wish. 😳

That means over 20 kids who are going through the unimaginable right now will get to have a wish granted.

That is something I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put into words.

Life gets crazy. I get stressed about stupid little things. I get caught up in the chaos and everything that needs to get done, and then a night like tonight happens and I’m reminded just how lucky I really am.

You truly never know what someone else is going through.

So just be kind. Give people grace. Love your people hard. ❤️

And thank you to everyone who helped make tonight what it was. Especially all of you who donated, shared, supported, or helped me put together donations for the event.

I got to be a tiny little part of something REALLY big tonight, and I’m so grateful for that.

I want to use my little corner of the internet for something that means a lot to me.

Over the last couple of years, I’ve been lucky enough to become part of the Gold Dust & Walker Farms family, and every year we come together to raise money for Make-A-Wish Oregon.

Last year, our community raised $190,000 and helped grant 19 wishes to Oregon kids. 🥹

This year, I’m hoping to help make it even bigger.

We’re looking for businesses or individuals who would like to donate a gift card, raffle basket, product, service, experience, stay, tickets, cash, etc. Something we can turn into a really great auction or raffle item. We already have some REALLY cool things coming together, and I’d love to keep building on them.

We’re on a bit of a time crunch — we need donations in the next few days. So if you own a business, know a business owner, or have something you think would make a great auction item, please reach out to me ASAP!

This fundraiser is really near and dear to me, and I’d love to see what we can do together. 💙

I need to figure out how to make these cottage food friendly because I to be able to share with you guys 😳….

These are caramel cheesecake cookies have a graham cracker base stuffed with homemade cheesecake and caramel, then topped with cream cheese buttercream, more homemade caramel, and flaky sea salt.

I don’t know… I think these might be one of my favorites yet. 🤤

I’ve always wanted to learn how to make homemade caramel, and I finally did it this morning. 🥹

After a few lessons learned, I ended up with a batch I’m actually really proud of.
