Now that these have (finally, whoops!) been gifted, I can reveal that I spent several of my winter hours learning about polymer clay. It’s harder than it looks! I had this dream of making drink markers for my friends who love the Jinro frog and I couldn’t let the idea go, even though I didn’t (yet) have the skills to make it happen. After lots of thinking and planning, and several coats paint, they turned out pretty cute imo 🐸 Swipe to see the inspo for these lil guys

Accidental blue (/green) period in my embroidery lately while working on these pieces to add to my abstract series. I love the way the light catches on the beads and the satin stitches 💙🩵💚

I haven’t finished them in the hoop because I can’t decide: Should I paint the frames to match?

Another one headed to the farm! I wanted to play with some new(ish)-to-me techniques and materials on this one. 🐑🌳 Turns out, water coloring on to fabric is really tough! I had fun playing around with it, though, so you may be seeing more in future pieces. This also has tapestry wool making up the fluffy sheep coats and the clouds and, of course, some classic cotton floss for the hills, tree, grass, etc. Pretty cute!
