We’re so excited for the plant sale this weekend! Milly has an amazing selection and while you may need to water your plants during this hot dry spell they should come back next year better than ever!

We’re gearing up for a big weekend! The selection is great right now, but soon we will be out of some species for the year.

Out of 60+ available species, we are down to the last few plants of: Pipevine, Spotted beebalm, Showy goldenrod, Purple Coneflower, Tennessee Coneflower, Common milkw**d, Joe Pye w**d, Pale Meadow Beauty, Red turtlehead. Come out soon for any of these. The Plant Stand will likely be open through October, or until we can no longer provide a good selection.

Depending on the plant, some can take the heat with enough watering, but others would prefer to stay in the shade until it cools down. If in doubt, plants can always live in their pots in a shady spot where you can water them until it cools off a bit.

Come see us Saturday for Millers Cove Native Plants open house! We will have some baked goods available and I believe the kiddos are planning a lemonade stand! I’ll be there in person from 9-11 and can accept a few preorders for pickup during that time. Hope to see you there!!

Made with half organic AP flour and half freshly milled hard white wheat, with conventional yeast, this is a gentle introduction to the world of freshly ground grain. It’s a classic homemade loaf and is perfect for sandwiches and toasts up great!

🍞 2. Artisan Sourdough Boule $10
Rustic boule with the classic sourdough flavor, this is made with 100% organic AP flour. This is good warm with butter or for mopping up a drippy roast.

🥖 3. Rustic Brown Bread $10
This Cheesecake Factory copycat is the quintessential soup bread, made from 100% freshly ground hard white wheat and conventional yeast. It’s soft and also make an excellent grilled cheese!

🍎 4. Apple Butter $7/ half pint
This has been described as “Christmas in a jar” and is made from apples picked this season at our home! It’s made with milled apples, organic cane sugar, and warm spices slow cooked to perfection. Add on to any bread order for only $5!
