I admire the warmth and comfort that can be produced by the single flame of a well crafted candle. Four years ago I decided I would try my hand at making my very first candle. Candle making soon became an enjoyable hobby that quickly evolved into a serious passion. I began making candles every chance I had, always striving to improve on my previous effort. Candle making is a science after all, and
it requires a great deal of experimentation to get it right. After I felt I had a product worth sharing, I began giving my candles as gifts to loved ones. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of positive feedback and it wasn't long before I started receiving requests from friends and family interested in purchasing my candles. It was at this time that I made the decision to follow my dream and create my very own candle company. I hand pour all of my candles in my kitchen in my home in Kyle, Texas. Each candle is crafted with pure American grown soy, high quality fragrance oil and features a lead-free, self-trimming cotton wick. All of my candles are completely dye free which leaves them a soft, natural shade of ivory. Unlike oil based paraffin candles, soy candles are made from a product that is renewable, sustainable, Eco-friendly, carbon neutral and almost always American grown. In addition, soy candles burn cleaner and longer than candles typically made from other types of wax which means you get the most out of your candle. Keep in mind that I do not use any additives to enhance the appearance of my candles, leaving them perfectly imperfect. Your candle may develop "frosting" or cool with a rough, uneven surface after burning. This occurrence is a normal characteristic of soy and in no way diminishes the quality of the candle.
