Ark valley Kitchen of Kindness

Ark valley Kitchen of Kindness Kitchen of Kindness is a coalition of church members and concerned citizens in the La Junta CO area. Our meals will be offered in a safe drug free environment.

We are dedicated to the goal of providing one hot meal a day to those in need. Our mission is to eventually help individuals get back on their feet through improved nutrition and working with them on self advocacy.

It is a new month and it is Thursday which means we are serving a free meal to anyone who is hungry. Tonight we will also be having Jeff Ballard doing live music as well. Tonight's meal is Breakfast Burritos. Come on out to 109 W. 5th and Santa Fe from 5-7 pm. Clothing will also be at this location if you are in need of clothing too. So come on out and we look forward to seeing you tonight.

Our Administration office/Clothing Room will only be open Monday through Wednesday this week. We won't be open until Tuesday 9/8 from 2-4 pm. Come on out and grab any clothes before we officially close our location.

This is what Thursday nights look like at Kitchen of Kindness. Tonight was Kielbasa and Cabbage. If you want to see these hardworking volunteers in person come on out on a Thursday night and get to know them. We are thankful and blessed to have these wonderful volunteers.

Come on out and enjoy community together at 109 W. 5th Street and Santa Fe which is also known as the River of Life Church. We are having Kielbasa and Cabbage and you can get this meal from 5-7 pm.

We will still have the clothing location until the end of September so if you are need of clothing come on out from 2-4 pm at 109 W. 2nd Street. We look forward to seeing you.

Today Ark Valley Kitchen of Kindness was at Otero College Welcome Week. It was fun to see all the students having fun with water games. We were able to donate a lot of canned food to their food pantry for students to grab what they need. Thank you Otero College for having us.
